Diamond Dynasty is a sht show. Pitching doesn't matter anymore in the game. Everybody hits homeruns. I am trying to pitch the ball in the dirt but for some reason the ball is in the middle of the plate even though I have perfect release. . Its a dmn softball game. Hitting is easier every year. It seem like since they made a Xbox version of the game hitting is a joke and everybody hits homeruns. I hit plenty of homeruns without lining my pci up with the ball. I can be far away and still get a hr. Outfielders all have 99 speed in the outfield but from reason they cant run to first base. They run so fast and sometimes teleport to the ball. Everybody has the same cards.

I can say hitting on simulation is the sweet spots but you can only do that offline with modes like RTTS/Franchise .

@AdeptOfMemory lol i am really not that great. I think the pinpoint and analog pitching isnt realistic. No matter what, if you get the meter right every time or close to it, the game rewards you. So you can have a low rated pitcher and pitch lights out every game.

Hitting on legend is a little different. You can have a perfect hit and still get an out.

I using analog and sometimes pin point pitching. I pitch on legend and the cpu can not hit when I use analog or pin point. It seems like they only get hits or runs when I use classic, meter or pulse. By the way I am not that great with pitching either.

I have the Cardinals and their bullpen sucks. I shouldn't be able to shut out the Dodgers 4 games in a roll.

Anybody else have this issue? I may have to go look for some realistic settings.

@virusts offline I use to have a realistic franchise going on where I try to play by the player stats. I was using timing and classic pitch. The only problem is I felt like its too easy. I play on legend. I just think you are giving the power to the AI\game to decide rather its going to give you a hit or not. It does the work for you.

Maybe its just me. Feels like im playing a softball game when playing online. Everybody hits bombs online. Pitching doesnt matter lol.. I probably go back to Franchise like I use to do every year. Im more of a sims guy. My main settings are zone and analog pitching

Im sorry to say this. I hate to be that person but Timing and Directional hitting should play each other with online play. Zone hitters should play other zone hitters.

Im all for people playing how they feel but the game does some wild bs when using timing. For example one night I was tired and I was in the middle of a game. I was down by 4. I couldnt react to the ball because I was just tired. So I switch from zone to timing. I started hitting bombs just because I was getting good timing. I end up winning the game. I thought it was a fluke so I hit with timing. I was struggling then I started hitting bombs and I won.

Another time I was playing someone and I can tell they where using time because they couldnt hit at all. All of sudden the person started hitting bombs in the bottom of the 8th. They were getting base hits from balls I was throwing in the dirt. It was nuts.
