I really enjoyed the Negro Leagues storyline this year and truly loved seeing the details in the throwback uniforms. I mostly play Franchise mode because I love to create my own players (in particular former Negro League players and Fictional ones from all the baseball movies) and uniforms and would love to see an expansion in this area.

I would like to see the following options added for next year's update:

-More uniform styles (i.e. checkered patterns similar to Chicago American Giants uniforms, faded jerseys and pants (i.e. College/Minor league styles). Also have options for different uniform quality from previous eras (i.e. wool, baggy fits)
-Ability to add Team/City/Custom patches to jersey sleeves and upper right/left section of jerseys for manufacturer logos (i.e. Nike, Jordan, etc...). These should be separate from the usual Jersey name section
-More lettering and number font styles
-Additional Catcher equipment options
-Additional Cap styles (i.e. more patterns, diagonals, etc...)
-More cleats style options (include all styles from previous versions of The Show)
-Jewelry (earrings, medallions)
-Unbuttoned Jerseys (1st 2 buttons unbuttoned showing t-shirt beneath)
-Cutoff sleeves on Jerseys
-Undershirt/No Undershirt option

I also would like the ability to choose how my player wears his cap (i.e. backwards, tilted left/right, low (covering eyes)

Yeah I've experienced that same issue on PS.

Yeah I’ve noticed they give players with the higher rating priority when it comes to assigning numbers. I even seen existing star players numbers change if a higher rated player with the same number gets traded to their team. It’s another quality of life issue they need to change.

You can also download the Expos set rather than create from scratch once you relocate the Mets.

I had this issue before as well but figured out a way around it by saving the season prior to the offseason and if I do get traded I can just delete that version and go back to the saved on. You may have to do it a couple times but that worked for me. Also turning down your trade slider at the bottom of the Sliders tab should help too.

If the game is to be simulation of MLB then you should know it’s super rare for players to go straight from college to MLB ( off top of my head Ben McDonald for the Orioles and John Olerud I believe) let alone from high school. I don’t think anyone has went straight from high school to MLB since some pitcher for the Reds in the 50’s.
I would rather like to see the option for different tracks to the Show like a fast track for Superstar potential players where they get to Majors in 1-2 years (i.e. Griffey Jr., A-Rod) if you meet certain criteria playing in the minors or a 2-3 years for others and maybe if one wants to play only in the minors (lol) a career minor leaguer track up to 10 years.

I’ve observed this as well and would like to see better crowd AI reactions to these situations. In Franchise mode when you see a sparse crowd the reactions should be less intense than a packed house.
Also to take it a step further we should have an option to select crowd intensity for our home ballparks in Franchise mode. There definitely is a difference in atmosphere when playing in places like New York and Philly vs less passionate locales. Also we should hear the difference in crowd intensity between playing in the minors vs the big leagues in RTTS.

Since you already started the franchise you’ll probably have to just edit an existing player not on your 40 man roster.

I definitely plan to once this COVID mess is more under control. I also have quite a few books and reference materials on the Negro League that I use to create the players

I actually was working on jersey designs for my favorite Negro League teams before taking a break from the game. Already had some players created/edited as well. Would be nice to have some Negro League cards in the game. Even better would be to add their names and nicknames to the list.

Team expansion and contraction would definitely be a welcomed feature. Any players on teams removed from your league could be added to the free agent pool or hold a contraction draft.

There’s plenty of Montreal Expos uniform sets and logos on the vault you can download to avoid doing it from scratch. Relocating a team won’t allow you to keep any existing uniforms, which means you will have to create new ones but will only allow for 1 home and 1 away uniform.

I have a ton of ideas written down but just to piggyback off the previous post we should be able to fully edit our own team up to MLB standards. Whatever they have (multiple jerseys, patches on jerseys, logos on leggings, etc...) we should have. I’ll take it a step further and say we should have additional uniform types/materials, lettering fonts, uniform patterns (thick/thin pinstripes, window pane, herribone, plaid, blended, etc...) made available to us. We should be able to edit the coaches, add GM/Owners names and completely edit our team stadium from the name to the signage, colors and ads.

I would suggest the new Texas stadium. It doesn’t have a ton of team signage and since it’s a retractable roof stadium would be appropriate for the wet climate of Portland.

I’d be happy with the ability to edit existing stadiums (i.e. signage, team logos, advertising, even stadium names) or provide us with 6-10 generic major league ones in various locations like downtown, waterfront, suburbs, etc...

I believe he means what’s the max amount in a single upload because I definitely have a lot uploaded on my game but don’t think I’ve tried more than 12 in a single upload.

You can still edit players once the season starts but you’ll have to wait until the offseason to make team edits.
