Same here, every time I do anything in the game it freezes. After every moment I played I had to reset, tried collecting cards and would freeze after that too. IDK, hopefully temporary

I was playing Mini season last night and after a few minutes I tried to go into the player card menu to see what stats I need to upgrade my mods. After checking a few cards I tried to check another and the game froze and said connection to the show network lost and would return to the line up menu in Mini season. If I tried to go back in to the card info the same thing would happen. The only fix would be restarting the PS5. This continuously happened only when going into the card info in mini seasons. Idk if this is an issue anyone else noticed. The menus were much crisper and easy to naviagete with no freezing which was a plus. This must be a new thing, It is a bit tedious to deal with because I often go into the card infor to check and see my progress on my parallels.

Feels like everything online is compromised at this point. I hope they figure something out but once the integrity of the game is in question for me I am losing interest. Huge fan of the game, started playing in 23 and my drive to compete is gone. No point to grind or try a flip cards etc for me.

@go4stros25_PSN I am with you, the game feels off now and its a shame. I enjoyed the grind and trying to compete. I would play a ton, tried playing a game today and lost interest very fast. Sad day for me and I don't see how SDS can change things. Really unfortunate. All the best on the Diamond and hope you don't run into cheater. (We don't even know if they are cheating really, In YFK's video the cheater just toggled it and seemed normal)

@DeleteyourTTVBTW_MLBTS Not sure why you took offense. Just saying Rookie and Veteran is very easy. If that is an issue for anyone (not you, I dont know you, unless it is an issue for you) the only thing to say to that is "get in the lab" ( practice). Rookie and veteran can be accomplished and with enough effort even higher difficulties. If I offended you that was not my intent. It isn't that serious to get excited about and even go to depths to seek validation for how these lower difficulties are truly hard. Only way to get better at anything is practice and work. No this doesn't mean you need to dedicate your life to mastering rookie or veteran, it is inherently easy. Lets stay on topic of the difficulty. As I stated in my original comment, the lower difficulties are easy. All the best on the diamond.

LOL this post is wild. Rookie and Veteran is too hard!!??? Sounds like a user issue. Keep practicing or find another game that fits your level and mental capacity. There are no shortcuts (unless you cheat) maybe get a game modifier and hit homeruns every time. But dumbing the game down to fit you isn't the answer. I have a feeling this was a trolling post, nonetheless get in the lab and practice.

Annoucning in general needs a big revamp. They make comments that have nothing to do with the actual game, like they are just saying stock phrases out of no where. Getting the first hit of the game Ro will say thats the 5th hit of the inning. Just off stuff like that. Can't they use an AI engine to make commentary amazing? Or it isn't that simple? IDK

OMG YES!!! Same here. Is that a glitch the opponent is doing or is an SDS issue? It was so frustrating because I was locked in and did really well. Sucked to not get that progress. I sent a support request to sds but I am sure nothing will come of it. Hopefully bringing it to their attention will stop it from happening again.

Collections are the 24th, I assume its demand for the cards? I hope its not being manipulated though. If you have the stubs and see the price drop bellow the average and its a rare pack I would buy it.

Yeah its happening more and more. Or In the lineup screen before the game It shows player cards that aren't even on the team. For example if I have Lindor leading off it will show some random bronze. The actual lineup isnt affected but its corny that something like that isn't working.

I was feeling the same but it just took me playing a lot online and getting in the lab. This is one of the most difficult games to pick up and play online and expect to do well. High rated players are playing a lot and I am sure there are people who just have better coordination and reactions. I never blame my oponnent for destroying me, that just means I need to get better. I would rather the game hard and forcing players to play up rather than dumb it down. When we are talking about glitches (Hader) or (blatent cheaters) or (the game just going haywire) then its a problem. See you guys on the Diamond!

So wild, lol These things are evident fairly quickly while playing. How can SDS make a good game overall but with such obvious issues. If they cleaned up all the glitchy stuff it would be soooo good. I start to think about upper management at this point. I know it is about money but why cant they make a good product AND make money, I am curious what a management ceo would say if presented with all these issues in game. Would they demand they be fixed? Just not care? As a business owner its mind boggling. Is it that expensive to fix many of the issues in the game? At this point its incompetence. Feels like they can come up with cool ideas (New PXP points system) but push it out buggy lol Like wth. I enjoy playing the game but still feels like a work. I know this does nothing in the long run but I guess venting helps. I have heard their code is like a house of cards.... is that true? I am not familiar with coding. Every game I play the commentary is always off. Saying random things, when it is 1-1 the commentator will say things like the score is now 3-4. Its become so nonsensical I ended up turning it off. Oh well, this game seems to be super glitchy with the menus not working, pxp attributes not working etc. Sucks because there is so much potential. Hope they patch things but I am not optomistic, the attributes wheel was always broken and brought up in previous MLB's and nothing ever changed. Must be a house of cards where if they do too much it will make the game unplayable, who knows.

There is stll no urgency from fielders.

Like the title says, PXP attributes are broke, have players at P5 and the base card has higher stats. The P5 actually regressed the stats. This has to be fixed, it is the same as when the attributes wheel was broken in MLB 25 and MLB 24 and so on and so on. Also the XP reward wheel spin is broken. How do these huge glitches and errors make it into the game. It doesn't take much effort or playing to figure these things out. MLB please fix the game, it has potential.

It always crashes on Ps5 also. Happens at least a few times every time I engage with the game.

I agree, it makes it almost unplayable. I waited minutes between menus and took forever to load mini season. Overall everything is laggy

I agree, even if its taken serious and people are playing competitively, like you said baseball is a game of failures. I am glad to hear that most people aren't like this, I hope I can avoid the immature mental cases. My mentality is if I lose "I" have to make adjustments and learn from tendancies that may cause me to strikeout etc. It's not the pitchers fault for not throwing me a meatball to smash or a hitter for being patient and having good plate dicipline. It is all how you react to the scenario. It just gets tiresome when it is back to back to back games. thanks for hearing me out. All the best.

Been playing MLB the show for 2 years now and have been playing more and more multiplayer. I have come across so many players that are just so immature. I guess its called toxic but it becomes tiresome. Am I just coming across lemon people who just have their own internal mental issues that they just throw fits in the game. It's just mind blowing how it feels like the majority of players are like this, is it the community? Is there a reputation for MLB the show players being like this? I don't let it affect me most of the time but it gets a little out of hand when its game after game. Are there any sections of the community where people don't have distorted egos and just play the game and try and get better and take L's and W's like normal emotionally stable people?
