IMO it’s one of the great things about baseball. Its connection to the social issues of the time. Be it the labor movement, civil rights, or world wars. I’ve lost my love of the NFL with how they handled kneeling.

I mean sure, I respect what they are doing too -- but maybe they could've let us know -- especially since this game is a live service.

So, Snider was a bust -- he was my go-to CF in '19. Should I go for Victorino (GG) or Lofton (AS)?

Some people are so entitled. Using a forum for the game to complain, instead of talking about when the next stub sale or how they pulled Trout from a headliner pack.

Thank the lord there are such good people on here willing to spend their valuable time to ensure any complaints are valid, based solely off their own experiences.

What would we do without these gentle souls patrolling the forums to keep us all focused on the real issues. Like "where Reggie should bat in my lineup", or "how do I make more stubs?" Or "I just pulled Trout from a headliner pack!".

I'd rather that than someone deciding what people should/shouldn't say on an online forum.

I mean, I get COVID updates from Pizza Hut and Old Navy, SDS is a live service and tell us what's up. Maybe they can't do much because the tools are at the office, so they can't make a significant patch/add much in the way of content -- just tell me.

We likely won’t here anything from them, and I don’t blame them.

With how fluid the situation is right now, the last thing they want to do is confirm anything or make promises they potentially won’t be able to uphold.

It's definitely a fluid and moving target! I know DICE LA cancelled Chapter 6 from their Tides of War program in Battlefield V.

With conquest, headliners, and Rs/ Br Rewards? Yes. With XP and events, I'd argue we are getting more than last year. With individual moments, no. If you are considering showdown as a replacement for moments It closes the gap. If we had a season going on right now Topps now moments would put us at the exact same amount of content as last year at this time. Adding historic topps now moments every week would satisfy everyone IMO

Hmm...I didn't think of Showdown as a replacement for moments. Good point, although I find Showdowns (while very interesting) extremely frustrating!

Conquest was the most obvious thing they could add. But mostly that stars were much harder to come by than last year's grind. I just want something to progress towards besides the regularly scheduled XP milestones.

Headliner cards are just not cutting it

Exactly. It made it appear as if that was the direction they were planning going forward.

I can't imagine COVID /NOT/ affecting content -- it would be nice if SDS was more transparent about this going forward. Like, clearly, there's going to be less stuff coming out while so many people can only work from home and there's no baseball. SDS should really give us an update on how this all affects content, since most of what we get is Headliners and a couple of (very nice) player programs that can be completed in half an hour.

I hope @SDS_Jax can give us some sort of update on how COVID will be affecting content. Obviously stuff like POTM and Inside Edge aren't going to happen until we get back on the field. But I felt content kind of weak in Inning 1 with no new Conquest maps after launch, few moments to earn stars outside of player programs -- this all feels much different than, say, last year's programs. Is this due to COVID and how will that affect content as this Quarantine goes on and on...and on and on and on and on...

Some of the logos are freaking nuts! I see a bunch of awesome looking NHL logos, but no Montreal Canadiens??? If anyone is inclined to make and upload one, that'd be awesome...I can't create anything good.
