Strategy......in a game where you have barely any control over such.
Can you pitch? Can you hit? Only thing that matters, if your opponent is better than you at those things, best pray RNG screws them over or it's a big L.

That's RNG for you. It's like playing Xcom some days.
Yep, not doing it.
Moments are irritating too, but at least they cycle quick, aside from the pitching ones.
Yeah, I'd love to switch off during the grind They insist on making me concentrate though.
Moments are especially awful this year due to pitcher nonsense when hitting. XBH are especially obnoxious.
Very bare bones.
No sense of occasion whatsoever.
I don't even know I've won a seasonal award (Cy Young etc) unless I go look for it, then it's a line of text.
Won the world series? Nobody cares. Onto the next season.
Working on parallels currently, and dislike conquest, so vs CPU it is. Turns out my squad covers all TA districts so that's slowly but surely growing points towards that.
Decent chunks of XP bullying the Rockies too.
Yep, it's a bug. Been around since at least '21 in some form.
It's RTTS though, the mode SDS don't much care about sadly. So I wouldn't expect a fix.
Just stop trying, I did and get more homeruns.
I like it this way. Means I can dump ballplayers without having an argument every time.
I must be way suck far too much for DDA to compensate for then.

Given how things are, probably best not to engage with this community.
Look at what happens on Twitter when they post about maintenance.
resetting the servers to handle all the back-logged data (due to everything being online because everything connects to DD) is not maintenance. Further more, no one on the dev teams is telling us what the issue(s) is and what steps they are taking to address the specific issue(s).
I'm not arguing the semantics of the word 'maintenance'. Though you are correct, trash day would be more apt.
I'm not in any way shilling here but if I were them, I wouldn't want to deal with the vitriol either. Look at what happened after the make right, 'BEST DEVS EVER!', two hours later, 'GARBAGE DEVS!'
Yeah, they have it coming but they don't need to fan the flames dealing with the 'experts' everyday.
Stop talking and get on with the job is my take. Platitudes do nothing, working does. Though, they aren't doing well on the latter so far.

Can you put your ballplayer in the leadoff spot in a game vs CPU, play as the away team, and only play your first at bat then quit out to get credit? Or do you need to complete the game for the missions to count? Would be much faster to rinse and repeat just playing one at bat over and over.
Yeah, you can do that. Works for most missions too.
Don't bite if you see people outbid you.
Impatience costs you.
Just leave it as is, it'll go through as long it's not a spike.
As a UK player, best times for me to flip are buy at night and sell during the day. Golds and under are usually OK at any time but diamond flipping requires timing.
Obviously look for wide margins and remember sale tax.
Pop time is a bit iffy but as long as you pre-load the throw it's usually OK.
Comes and goes, as does my will to play this unfinished trash.
It can go back to being Phony exclusive. It's been a month now nearly.
Had more trouble with Kopech's fastball than anything Smith threw.
With Smith, just took a lot of pitches to wear him down.
Superstition, not a rule.
Personally I'd find everybody not talking to me more distracting between innings worse than talking.
It's data storage, they use a single byte to retain that particular data and 255 is the most a single byte can store.
1 byte = 8 bits.
Somebody else would have to explain it properly but that's the "English" version.
Button accuracy, use it, love it. I used to use just buttons on my catcher. 60% of the time he missed all the time. With button accuracy, on the nail every time.
With hitting, try picking a zone to work with. As an example, I ignore everything inside and on the bottom third as I can never get them.
Obviously the above isn't ideal and needs work but I'm an offline only type so it still works out most of the time as the CPU doesn't really dot that well.
Working specific zones in the PCI also helps your plate discipline as well, I'm prone to being a little trigger happy myself otherwise.
I'm brand new to this series myself.

I'm under the impression that the CAP reset is 24 hrs after you hit it. But I could be wrong.
No, it's a set time. Gave me 4 hours after hitting it last night.
