I didn't play the '21 game, so I'm not sure if this was the case last year as well, but did they get rid of the player comparison screen, where you could see how your player is viewed in comparison to the other guys at your position in the depth chart? If they moved it, I haven't been able to find it yet.

I seem to be having the same issue. I've played 13 games so far and yet it shows me as only having 4/15 plate appearances, 7/20 putouts, etc...

I normally buy the new season's game when it first comes out, but I waited on this year's until just a few days ago because I had read about multiple major bugs that were present when the game was released. I figured I'd wait until those were patched before bothering with it.
I wish I had read a bit more about the actual gameplay of this year's version because I wouldn't have wasted my money on it and just stuck with the 2020 game.
I kinda-sorta get how the new loadout stuff works, but not really. I don't really understand how the attributes work anymore. I've seen other posts about how attributes are capped at 50 now, but I can't even figure out where to see that anymore. The previous games made it very clear and obvious where you stood with attribute caps and max caps, but I'm just lost when it comes to that stuff now.
I like how they make these major fundamental changes and then basically just say "you figure it out". I'm sure it's much easier to pick up for younger players who have a lot more time to play and have more affinity for gaming in general, but for old fogeys like me who just like to throw it on occasionally and play a few games here and there, it's not so fun anymore. I've been playing this game since 2014 and I've never been so lost with an update.
I hate that they no longer allow you to have multiple created players and I hate that they take took away the option to import a player from last year's game. It's also very annoying that I apparently can't keep my player's appearance the way I want it. I set up my player's uniform and gear the way I want, save it, go directly into the next game, and it's all changed back to the way it is based on the equipment boosts that are equipped.
It would be nice if there were any tutorials anywhere that could just break down and explain all the new updates in clear and concise terms, but evidently such a thing doesn't exist. Apparently I have to piece together bits and pieces of information from 19 different forums and a thousand YouTube videos to try and collect the information I want. The whole thing's a murder investigation.
I'll probably just go back to the 2020 game, if I decide to play it at all anymore. It's too bad because the graphics are really great and it looks amazing. If this is the direction that the gameplay is going from now on, though, then the 2021 version will likely be the last I'll ever buy.
