I got swept against the Giants despite having 7 hits in the series, 3 of which were HRs, 1 of which was a Grand Slam.
By the time I made it to game 100 in my first full season, I already had the best season ever for a teenager in MLB history, we're 4th in the division.

Exactly. Plus these are sports games. At this point I honestly don’t know what could be added to them to make them more than just a graphics and roster update. Any new additions are going to seem small in the grand scheme of things (stadium creator, ballplayer, moments, etc).
I’m not a very creative person but what should be added that’s missing from games like The Show?
More ways to contact your agent.
A way to make your player earnings not just a number.
More character and equipment editing options, like hairstyles and tattoos, your personal logo and maybe a cleat creator
Endorsements with brands already used in the game that would require you to complete certain objectives to gain some rewards. Maybe tied to some of the challenges.
More stats for your player (OPS+, for example).
Maybe keeping records beyond the six or seven available to tell you when your ballplayer goes over legends.
Renew practice games so training feels fresh every year.I could go on and on.
Some people say that others like to complain about everything... This game LITERALLY has missing uniforms EVERY YEAR (Cardinals red jerseys, Yankees dark blues, M's light blues...), the BP jerseys and character editor haven't had a change in YEARS, the managers still wear outdated jackets, and the Oakland Coliseum STILL has the upper deck tarps.
-
I'd be happy with a deeper uniform editor that allows me to create uniforms that could actually belong in MLB (something like Forza's), and for those awful BP uniforms to be gone and leave place to the many missing jerseys in the game (Cards Red, Ms light blue...)

For sports games, I always find better to get the disc and then trade it for something else or sell it for like 10 bucks when the next one is coming. But now that I live in Portugal I don't have that option with MLB... It's digital or nothing.
Now, If you don't care about getting a little bit of money back at the end of the games' cycle, digital is way more confortable.

This answer probably comes to late, by 2033 I've won 5... The 5 years I finished with 0 errors as a shortstop, even though I have led the league in assists and/or putout outside those years, I know that as soon as i make 1 error, I won't be winning the GG that season.

For starters, SEPARATE RTTS AND DD ENTIRELY!!!

At this moment right now, I can't connect to the servers... just like last night... and the night before that. I already asked Support for a refund, but I don't have my hopes high about it. They basically told me to reset the console and check for updates. Because according to them, it's on my ignorance on how to own a PlayStation and play games, not on your inneptitude to offer players a working, finished product.
It's a disgrace that your customers (which you say are important and always heard) are treated like this. A company that makes huge amounts of cash has the same problem EVERY YEAR and nobody there saw coming that being available also on Xbox would take a toll on the servers. Imagine how you'd feel if it was the other way, if we all payed for your functioning game with money that doesn't work.
Hopefully, you'll get your act together and fix THIS problem. That way you'll be able to adress all the other ones: broken progression, dumb loadouts messing up equipment settings...
Also, having one player (and only one) for everything was a dumb idea. Boy, If you were honest enough to give refunds, I would love to get me some Super Mega Baseball 3.

Lmao yup, its crazy man. Every game i find myself noticing random [censored] [censored], my equipment is always changing, my no doubt HR celebration changes to something random. This game has so many issues that i dont think theyre ever going to get around to. This will be a broken game for its entire cycle.
IT SEEMS that if you access your loadout through your profile and not your ballplayer, equipment doesn't get messed up.
-
How many years will this game go without Spring Training Jerseys, and with those awful BP uniforms that are kinda useless in games?
-
Every time you LOOK (not change, LOOK) at your Loadouts (the dumbest idea ever) your equipment changes to a bunch of random settings. In my case, the compression sleeve goes to the other arm, the tape on the bat goes away and my batting gloves is removed from one of my hands. RTTS 20 worked so smoothly... It needed none of the changes made.
Oh, and one more thing SDS, congratulations on ANOTHER year of most Spring Training jerseys.

Am i correct you are referring to RTTS? If so, No. You are stuck with that camera. You can hit L2 (with the ball in play) while fielding and baserunning to get a aerial view.
Yes, I'm talking about RTTS. Usually I prefer R3, to see more stuff happening... It would be nice if there was an option to fix it permanently. Thanks anyway!

I'm new to the forum and I don't know if there is an open thread on this (sorry if it is). Here's my issue:
On defensive plays (mostly when I'm not involved and while pitching) and while baserunning, I always have to press R3 to center the camera and have a better view of every situation. Is there an option that always centers the camera without me pressing R3? Is this an issue with the camera that would/should be fixed in future updates, or was intended to work this way?
Tell me your team sucks without saying your team sucks.
