I believe that’s where it is? I know it’s the bottom setting tab on the page where you would change Your gameplay settings

I found it in RTTS but it’s probably in other offline modes as well. Pause the game and go to options or controls (not on game right now) and click strategy

It straight up says in the strategy guide that lower contact means more fly balls. Yes, there will obviously be more hits when the opponent has a bigger PCI, but the majority of DD runs are via the home run, and more fly balls means more home runs.

That's my point. HR/9 doesn't do anything and H/9 affects the PCI and the contact rating, so good H/9 theoretically will give up more home runs than bad H/9 because they induce more flyballs.

Here's something interesting that I came across. In the strategy guide it gives 2 pieces of information. 1) A player with a 70 contact and 99 power will hit more flyballs than a player with a 99 contact and 99 power. 2) A good H/9 for a pitcher will decrease the hitters contact, but will not do anything to their power. Therefore, a pitcher with a good H/9 will give up more flyballs than someone with a low H/9. And when dealing with power hitters which is the majority of DD teams, more flyballs means more home runs. Therefore, theoretically a pitcher with a bad H/9 may be better than a pitcher with a good H/9 in DD because the majority of runs scored in online are produced by home runs. Obviously, you will give up a few more singles per game, but you will give up less home runs, theoretically, with someone with a bad H/9.

I never said I can't hit lefty lefty. I win the majority of my online games with the method that I use, and it's much more efficient to have players that are very good vs one side, then to have players that are just "good" against both sides, but that's not the point. And if someone wants to bring in a reliever in the first inning, I would GLADLY have their starter pulled before they even throw a full inning.

First off, it's much more efficient to have a lineup with each using your bench players. I have the matchup I want almost the entire game, outside of 2-3 at bats late in the game if a reliever comes in of the opposite hand. In real life, lineups are set based on what pitcher they are facing, not a general rating of a player.

I don't understand why Diamond Dynasty doesn't allow different starting lineups for righties and lefties when it comes to opposing teams pitcher. I understand not wanting people to back out when they see a certain handed pitcher, but at least let us preset both, as I believe that is a feature in Franchise. If I have my lineup set for right-handed pitching and they throw a lefty, I then have to pinch hit 3-4 players early to get the matchups I want and I then have one guy on my bench for the entire rest of the game. I understand that part of it is having players that can hit both, but logistically that's not how the game of baseball is played.
