I had same issue last year as well as this year. I play with a buddy and we both had our "favorite" team as the same team (I won't say who so I don't get roasted). I changed my favorite team to a different team and started a home game and voila! NO MORE ALL-STAR GAME GLITCH. Hope this works for someone else.

July 1st and still no fix

Just an exhibition game vs. a friend. 99/100 games default to Seattle.
