@sbchamps17 being negative and being realistic usually come hand in hand. The attitude of be happy with what we have is a loser mentality. Nothing gets better that way.
Complaining about a video game you choose to play for fun doesn’t make you sounds like a winner man I hate to break it to you
Imagine SDS’ morning meetings when they are sitting around a table game planning for the day ahead , “ ok DefTake is way too good at this game lets make sure the homie takes nothing but L’s today so we can give the casuals a shot. I want every perfect input he has getting lined out to the shortstop and let’s his opponent hit nothing but tanks despite DefTakes flawless pitch selection and execution. DefTakes reign of dominance ends today!!!
I tried to have an open mind about the reset but I wasn’t prepared for the cards to have been worse than day 1. TA 1 had 89 overall cards but some decent names that made them fun to chase and plug in as they were unlocked. With the Buxton boost team building was actually pretty fun especially because we hadn’t just spend months building up a team a sick 99’s that are now worthless. TA 2 seems like they just dug some cards out the trash of prior years, these dudes simply are not relevant nobody wants those cards and I can’t help but think they chose these guys based off pure laziness. Why I have to shelf all my 99’s to grind for a 89 overall future stars Clint Frazier from 6 years is beyond me. Anyways I appreciate the effort from SDS to innovate and make this game more fun and I just don’t think think resetting the power creep 3 times was viable idea without a a clearer/more logical plan for the content
I love it. Total bases is the way to go for stat missions in my opinion
Thanks bro we are going to miss you. I really count on those games where my opponent is better than me and I still win. Where will I get my W ‘s when all you stick magicians leave to play NCAA
I don’t know maybe I’m missing something but why are we supposed to care if someone buys stubs from a 3rd party?
Honestly I prefer this to the model of the show 20-22 where they just gave everyone that played for 10 mins all the cards in the game. We still have a market where it’s super easy to flip cards and make stubs I’m ok with that being a barrier to the best cards in the game if your upset I recommend trying to play this years 2k where there is no market, xp caps on every game, and rewards that are only guys terrible shots or otherwise unusable. We are far, far from that I don’t think review bombs are warranted
With all the 99’s incoming I think it’s important to remember home-runs count the same on the scoreboard regardless of who hits them. In other words 90 Jackson Holliday and 92 Soto have spots in my lineup Friday and beyond if they keep on producing
Honestly I don’t see them going back to the free everything for everybody model of 20-22. I’ve been on this forum since 2019 and this community complains so much and about so much I don't see how we can honestly expect SDS to hear any of our specific complaints. Think about it in relation to what you do for a living, if you suddenly find a way to make more money for doing the same amount of work and receiving the same amount of complaints from your customers would you want to go back to giving everything away for free again? Yes it sucks having a limited amount of time to use cards but It not like anyone was using their hard earned April cards in June under the old model anyways. I’m curious to see how the recycled power creep is going to play out, I didn’t mind last year when you could use the current set and the set before each season but I think it’s going to suck now that it’s only current set that will be eligible. they are basically having us grind for months to get 99’s that are only eligible for days before the power creep resets completly as oppposed to last year when each card would have at least a full season of eligibility.
The only thing we know for certain is It will be incredibly disappointing. Lou Gehrig always gets ruthlessly disrespected by this game so I wouldn’t be surprised to see him yet another unusable card
Come on guys we were all teenagers once give the kid a break he did his time

@genuinejam_MLBTS but you don't play though...
You got me I just come on this forum because it’s so entertaining I’m just here waiting on NCAA to come out too lol
Reinstall worked for me. Last year playing the Home Run Derby mode in franchise would trigger I wouldn’t be surprised if they never fixed that for this year

Started a new game on other system for those times I'm in a freee-off on main console. Obviously I can't get the jelly beans anymore, but that's ok cuz I could still get Yelich. My only problem is the boggs easter egg in BR. Is it not possible anymore or do I have to pray to the sds gods and hope he pops up as an option?
The jellybeans exchange is 15 jellybeans now btw I just did the conquest last night with 0 jellybeans on hand and got two eggs by the end including one I exchanged the 15 jellybeans for
In my opinion someone “all of a sudden hitting bombs” does not constitute evidence that something nefarious is going on. I feel like this happens literally every single game; between the pitchers energy and confidence meters, and the potential your opponent has identified patterns in your pitch selection it’s far more likely that your opponent was capable of hitting bombs the whole time than they gained some type of advantage by using a less dynamic hitting interface
