They do force you. I made it very clear that I didn't want to be a two-way player. Got told that I'm still going to have to try it. Had to bean 28 batters before I got pulled.

this just seems like a crazy waste of time when you can just sim the pitching lol
Yeah, it was worth it though. AI is pretty good at dodging pitches. I thought if I'm going to be forced to have pitching stats I may as well make them one to remember.
