It happens both ways, last night I was the home team in ranked and lost connection with opponent in the 3rd. Ranked solos. No lag, no choppiness, nothing. Just randomly does it.
Hoping someone can help me out here, I genuinely love playing this game with my buddies when we’re all in a party.
I was using wifi on my ps5, and have been for the past four years at the same location with no issues on any game, any previous show in any year, played many ranked games with no issues.
Then comes this year, every other game in ranked solo, I get “lost connection with opponent” and get slapped with a L.
I figured something was maybe wrong with the wifi, so I ran an Ethernet cord and hardwired by ps5. Still, drop out of 5 of 5 games last night, 2 being play with friends against my buddy. It makes NO sense. My internet is at 320mbps + and have zero issues, I don’t get choppy or sound like a robot in our PlayStation party, it’s just random.
Anybody know what is going on?? I see other people posting about this but most just get shut down, it seems like there is definitely something with this year and mostly sounds like ps5s????
