Doesn’t matter cause XP ain’t much but the 2nd drop mission for 75 bases seems off. Count seemed low after a handful of game. I was at 30 TB when I checked and suspected a low number. Played a game with 11 hits, all singles, 7 stolen bases, and 6 runs. After the game the tally only went up by 11 which I assume are the hits. Not going to do the math but with all the action on offense I definitely racked up more than 11 bases. Is it only counting total bases per at bat instead of total per game? That is a HR is 4, triple 3 etc etc.

Played an event game and a HR was given to a ball that was clearly foul. The announcers didn’t even recognize it. The ball was hit and the screen jumped to the next batter and there were 3 runs on the board. It was odd and frustrating.
Also been haunted by the pitching glitch over and over. I keep checking my connection and my router is pulling around 300/20 mbps so I’m not sure what I else I can do about that.
Im not one to complain about rewards and stuff (although there way too many redundant cards for my liking but that’s for another time) but once the game is messing with your effort then it’s a problem. Hopefully this was just a random anomaly.

A 3 inning game is like 15 minutes.
And home games are like ten minutes if you’re winning by the third inning.
I mean fair enough if your just going through the motions to get the vouchers. Score one run and moving on is easy enough. If your actually trying to get the PXPs done though feels really inefficient if the starting pitcher can only go two innings and hitters are only getting one or two at bats.

Feels too cumbersome to grind 3 innings at a time.

I wouldn’t mind if not for them continuing to repeat cards. I had already leveled up my Marlins set. Now I gotta buy a new Sandy and Mike Lowell card. Wouldn’t be surprised to see ANOTHER Arraez card in set 3. At least give me some variety. Batting Champ Hanley, WS MVP Livan, Post Season Josh Beckett, Moises Alou. That’s just post season players. Marlins don’t have a long history but they’ve had great players and moments. I’m sure the same could be said for every other team I’m not familiar.

Before anyone says it, yes I know my internet is probably at fault, just needed to vent. I’m terrible at BR and I play just long enough to hit all the missions and complete the program. On this particular run I was on a 5 game win streak about to get my 6th. Bottom of the third, pitches start glitching everywhere. I’m walking guys and hitting batters but I managed to get two outs. At this point it’s a race against time. Sure enough on the last batter I get disconnected mid pitch. My best win streak down the drain.

It happens. I’ll go through a stretch of games that I even surprise myself with pitching. Then I get mercy ruled when I’m getting too cocky. Honestly when that happens I don’t even get mad but I do wonder how the heck they do it. Cheating never crosses my mind though because even being a mid player I still throw my share Maddox shutouts.

Is there a more useless 99 card in this new set? I thought maybe I wasn’t using him right (I stopped using him all together a while back) but I just homered against him for the lead in a save situation.
That persons ERA with Mo was over 9 lol so at least I know it isn’t just me. My ERA is 6.45.

I bought two 50 packs and didn’t get it. Although I lucked out by getting a live series mookie so I was able to sell it off and got my stubs back plus some.
I wonder if the people who have the card bought it outright or if they just got really lucky. After two attempts I’m probably gonna pass up on it but I’m just curious what others have done.

From a pitching standpoint its been a long time since I’ve let an inning get away from me and the game gets outta hand. I’ll be cruising and somewhere in the middle I’ll just start giving up majestic bombs on perfectly executed pitches. I get it if a pitch goes down the middle it’s inevitable but a back door slider to a lefty on the black or 103 FB outside corner to righty seems like awful bad luck or a game flaw.
On the hitting side the only way to score is to hit HRs which is equally as frustrating. Is this intentional?

Agreed. You’d think a mini season, conquest, moments and showdown would be enough to at least get you half way. Then it’d make sense for you to have to grind it out the rest of the way. Even with completing the Captain and Henchmen tasks while doing the mini season/conquest it still felt like an eternity.
I didn’t play last year so I went into this year with hopes tackling TA first. It’s been so off putting I’ve only finished East and AL central. I’ll finish it when I finish it. Honestly the only card that I’ve enjoyed using from the what I have is the Wander Franco and Devers. No one else has really been interesting to me to even put in a line up.

Is there a tutorial out there that explains how the attributes for each card is applied. Particularly for pitchers. It’s confusing because I can dominate with some cards and find others impossible to use. For example, prospect Michael Kopech is my best pitcher. I can breeze through a 9 inning game on 90 pitches. You’d think I perform better with signature Hal Newhouser but I can’t seem to be able to control any of the pitches. All of his stats are jacked up and I have to think I’m misusing him somehow.
