Blew it ... needed 1 run, bases loaded ... swing comes in and somehow the guy on 3rd decides he's stealing home.. i'm watching this happen wondering what is going on not thinking that I need to press L1 to pull him back... There's no way I hit L2 to steal.. maybe my knee bumped it.. FML!!!!

I find that happens when the controller gets low in battery, or when I've been playing for hours and hours. It may be superstition but I feel its like Windows 7. You gotta reboot the PS4 every so often to start fresh, clear out the memory leaks etc. When I've been playing too long without a restart I find I can't time my hits at all and yet the person i'm vs'ing is knocking out 4 dingers in the 1st inning on me.

Chapman/Dibble

I try to match L/L and R/R so I'm mostly using Dibble. I have the better Chapman he is a beast. Steady diet of 102 FBs usually gets it done.

It may seem weird but I find that where I'm sitting helps with my timing. I'm about 3 1/2 feet from the monitor. When I'm too close my timing is off. When i'm leaning back or further away I can't hit anything. Just noticing this now...

Do Showdowns get easier the more times you lose them? I've redone this 1st inning one like 10 times and this final time it's been a breeze.. I got awesome players, and i'm 10 runs going into the final boss. I'm hitting the ball great... I load the bases up right away during most missions.. Does it get easier or am I finally timing my swing right?

Thumbstick grinding? happens to me sometimes

I find that I myself go through hot and cold streaks... Sometimes i can get hits with 5 of 6 batters, other times i can't get a hit to save my life... Right now i'm on the hot streak so better not jinx it lol. They say Ranked Season the first 3 or 4 levels are at Allstar Pitching and Hitting but seems to get way harder once you hit about 450 rating. Maybe its in my head I dunno...

Why are the Showdowns so $&$^&$^& annoying!!! UGHHH I want to scream.

Spend hours and hours to get to the final, then lose with like 1 run to go.. i had 6 outs to get it done and nope.. all the sudden they're playing some insane D and every hit goes right at a fielder...

Ah well they must have been pissed that I got a couple sales in. Why wouldn't they pick a less active card .. like something not part of a collection... What's really weird is that after about 10 mins it went right back to the way it was before.

I've seen this happen a few times, all the buy and sell orders disappear and then new listings come up in the space of a few minutes. I'm pretty sure this is the game doing some kind of reset. How else are the prices on the 3-pack selections so stable on the 3 cards being offered? Look at the pic I posted, how else would i sell a Daniel Murphy for 69,999 ..

Was buying some cards for the Awards collection and decided to flip a couple Daniel Murphy cards Then something weird happened when I was flipping a few. The market for this card literally got cleared out and then new listings were being placed and then bought/sold immediately.

My theory is that the admins were resetting the market for Murphy and I just happened to be in there at the right time. I put a couple buy orders for cheap and sold some as high as 69999 ... this happened exactly 2 hrs after the daily reset.

Has anyone else had this happen?

Flipping cards in 18 was VERY profitable, especially fro equipment. All marketplaces in the world have fees its just a normal thing to be expected ... and i guess to make flipping less profitable overall.

Also it kinds of makes it not free to RENT players, ie. buy them, use for a bit then sell for what you paid...

Have they ever been good? I pulled Max Scherzer on a pack that I earned thru moments but you rarely get a diamond and even rarely do you get a GOOD diamond. I got super lucky but I didn't buy my pack.

Anyone know why the Max Scherzer card is so expensive?
