Either the above linked post is wrong, or SDS knows and just doesn't care. It shouldn't take this long to fix a relatively minor issue.

Create a new player. Make him a reliever. You can keep him as Joe Random. Get drafted by whoever you want. Then back out, load your starter, then go back into your new save. You're now able to use your starter as a reliever.

I don't know how you can do it within your current save that you already have, but I've used this trick if I want to use my already created player at another position.

I'm losing hope by the day. If they haven't fixed it by now I don't think they will, which is a shame.

I've been complaining about this since launch. The attribute leveling system is broken and SDS doesn't seem to care.

So none of the glaring RTTS attribute level up issues are fixed. Again.

In RTTS, there is a currently a glitch that will now allow velocity, control or break to go past 36-37. H/9, K/9 and the other base attributes are not affected. According to the biggest content creators, SDS is aware of the issue and working on it. If you are like me and couldn't understand why your base attributes were going up but your velocity was stuck hopefully it saves you some time. I will be waiting to play anymore RTTS until issue is fixed so that I can be earning base progression and pitch progression.

Will they also work on how slow the attributes progress?

And you can't tell me it takes nearly 3 weeks to patch it

There was a huge problem with base level attributes not going up. I deleted all my saved files for that player and loaded same CAP into new RTTS the show and it is working now. My 2 way SP is an 81 after one season of playing every game (was a 76 before)

Idk what you're doing that I'm not, but I've tried that and it's not doing anything .

Do you start a new season, or do you delete your CAP?

RTTS is a grind no matter what. Just play on what difficulty you are comfortable with. It took me almost 6 seasons to really start having good attributes. Once you get most of your attributes past 70 they start to go up pretty quickly as you now have better chances at doing well. Plus, in spring training you get a ton of basically free attribute increases on one category.

I am in 2020, so I don't have to worry about archetypes, so that is a bonus for me. When you get an offer from a coach to work on something and there are multiple choices take the one that will help you the most in online play as some attributes really only matter when simming, and I never do that as that usually hurts your performance.

They refuse to fix the attribute leveling system. You have to play for 20+ hours just to start getting over 37.

The equipment packs earned in in-game challenges are never above Silver.
I'm at 86 overall and wanted to get to 99!

How have you gotten to 86 overall with as broken as the attribute leveling system is?

With equipment boosts.

I've got all diamond equipment and perks and I'm at 79 after many, many hours of play.

They don't even have to do the points, IMO. Just make the attribute level up like 21 or 22 where it won't take 6 real time years to get a 99 level player
