I play LF in RTTS. My defensive stats are maxed out, so I tried to sim the defensive appearances until my next at bat. Everytime I get a hit after simulating my defensive appearances, me being on base is skipped. I'm being forced to play defensive appearances now. If I skip them, the game also skips me being on base, and reduces my chances of trying to steal bases. I wanted to speed the games up outside of simming them completely.

I'm having the same issue. I don't want to be a two way player anymore, just a position player. But when my agent calls, I let him know that I am not happy. The only topic brought up is about being traded, not the option to be only a position player. I'm going on my 7th RTTS season as a two way player.

1. The game has a habit of stopping my player when I'm trying to go for extra bases. There have been too many occasions when I'm half way from 2nd going to the 3rd, the game makes my player go back. I eventually get caught in a rundown and tagged out.

2. The computer is using starting pitchers as relievers, but only for opposing teams, not mine. What's worse is even after pitching the day prior, they enter the game with a full energy gauge!!

These two are added to other issues that haven't been addressed even after several updates. I haven't played the game as much as I used to. It's getting frustrating to play.

I'm was on 1st base and got the signal to steal 2nd. Ronald Acuna was at the plate and the count was 1-2. When I stole 2nd, the count flashed to 0-2 instead of 2-2 (the pitch I ran on was called a ball). Is anyone else having this issue? Edit: He struck out. Smh

What I got was play one game of a series and then sit for 2 games in case they need a mop up pitcher when they are down by 5 runs, or the occasional tie game where they leave me in to pitch for 6 extra innings only to get saddled with a loss when they finally relieve me and the next guy gives up a hit.

At any rate, I don't want to pitch any more. However, neither the manager nor my agent has talked to me in forever. I'm 3 years deep in the majors with the Tigers and have not spoken to anyone since the minors.

How do I get out of this quagmire?

I have a similar issue. Anytime I talk to my agent and tell him I'm not happy, the only topic that is brought up is me being traded, not about going full time as a pitcher or position player.

Users should have some control over the rosters. I'm the best player on the team,, but the CPU constantly puts me in the 8 hole. Also, I just finished my regular season, and the CPU sent my best pitcher, a 16 game winner, down to Triple-A!!!!

This is my first time ever playing MLB The Show '21 and I'm quite enjoying it. However, there are three issues I do have post update:

1. The Manager only calls for me to steal bases with my power archetypes. I'm to the point where I don't try when the steal is called. What sucks more is that my teammate at the plate always strikes out when I ignore the signal. He never calls for me to steal when I'm using a speed archetype. This is especially troublesome to me because stealing bases are part of progressing under the speed archetype.

2. Why is there no run support when I'm pitching in RTTS? My team has scored at most 3 runs when I pitch.

3. As a batter, I always receive +1 in vision but -2 in discipline when a questionable strike 3 is called. The discipline should only decrease by one since it is a strikeout.
