You right is not the bat but p/p should be more rewarding than anything else. Not this bulshit pci placement.

Ok but how rewarding is enough? Let's say the average for balls in play is 315 and for perfect perfect, it goes up to 400 (I'm making these numbers up), 60% of those perfect perfects are going to be outs.

We can quibble over how often a PP should be a hit, but they're never going to make it be 100% of the time.

I'm not saying for sds to make p/p 100% but a least make it 80%. in real life baseball I seem plenty of players hit the ball hard right into another player glove, but I also seem plenty of players when they hit the ball on the sweet spot no body is catching that ball.

I like how everyone assumes that an update has to be coming. Has SDS acknowledged that contact swing is a problem or a bug that needs to be fixed?

Go check last update note and you will see sds talking about it.

You seemed to answer your own question. They arent gonna just sit on a fix and not release it. Sounds like you want them to release something before it is ready that could mess the game up worse.

Lol how? Why does it need to be about the pitcher and the swing and not the gameplay? I never contact swing and have HOF homeruns with no PCI touching the ball against maxed out submarine throwing caps.

The pitcher doesn’t matter.
Swing type doesn’t matter.
Difficulty level doesn’t matter.

It’s designed like this for some reason.

It happens far more often with contact swing. And how do I know its a contact swing? Vlad's PCI won't be that big on HOF against Tanana. The biggest problem for gameplay right now is the contact swing.

ZERO data just word of mouth from your favourite streamers and players better than you in discords so you repeat it.

Its then becomes a issue when it’s the excuse used for poor gameplay. My HOF homeruns against maxed out caps have nothing to do with contact swings, it’s two completely separate issues.

Was. Traded out my fiber network box and google TV for a really good Asus router. Saw some minor improvements with PUBG as far as better hit registration. More of my bullets seem to connect now as before it seems like I was shooting rubber bullets a lot of times. That was really the only difference in that game. I have definitely been winning more gun fights than I previously did.

Haven't played very much of MLB The Show. Very early analysis with new router is it seems my pitchers don't leave near as many pitches over the middle. Still don't seem to get rewarded enough for good, good swings but haven't really played enough to draw a good conclusion. I did get matched up with one person and the lineup screen was really laggy. I played anyway since I didn't give a [censored] but I was wondering how I got matched up with him since I have an optimized fiber connection in the middle of the U.S. and it seemed like he was playing in a cave in Afghanistan. How did the game pick him as home team?

Ive been to that cave in Afghanistan, it's a lovely little internet cafe with the most amazing affogato's.

I dont know either but most of the time i play online i never get a check swing strike.

Had the same happen with one of Monthly Zimmermann's moments, went through the back wall on the fly.

I had something similar happen last night. A blooper to left, my ss looks completely locked on, then when the outfielder got close, he lost the lock and didn't bother catching the ball. It dropped, of course. I have video as well, but I honestly can't be bothered cutting it down.
