Anyone else watching games and shocked by horrible production quality?? I’m watching the Yankees vs Nationals on the MLB.tv app and they cannot figure out how to get replays to work. They’ve also been cutting to the wrong players or not doing a great job following the action. It’s just a mess.

I watched the tail end of the A’s vs. Angels today and they also seemed to have some hiccups (but nothing like the Yankees game). Has anyone else noticed this while watching your teams? Presumably the virus shouldn’t have this kind of effect, but this has been the worst produced telecast I’ve ever seen.

no offense but are you a millinieal or whatever the generation after them has become? how many times have you worked in a pandemic environment? they are thinking about things past their job, give em credit, at least we have something

lol I know right-late to the party... btw-this entire "pandemic" has become a way to weaken us as humans(no one works out at home anymore) weaken the economy, weaken our faith in one another and weaken ourselves. I'm in my 40s so I've met people who've met people who know people and Ive yet to meet anyone that's truly died of this "disease", it's a harsh flu that kills old people if you step back and see what's happening. China developed a drug to rid their country of old people- there are more "old" people in China than America has citizens. They were trying to euthanize the old and now our old are suffering. Those are the ones dying- turn off "news channels" and open your eyes, when you do you will be amazed at what you discover. we in America have been brainwashed since birth... ive had covid- got it in January, it was a bad 5 days afterwards my breathing isn't the same otherwise I'm still alive at 43, quit dodging it, get it overcome it and move on- NO ONE IS LIVING FOREVER YO.

PS2 I think. I think I played it right from the start. But I always did offline franchises with Rosters from operation sports. I never messed with DD until 2018. Think I messed around with it in 2017, but didn’t really play it.

2018 was the first year really getting into DD, and I was absolutely terrible. 2019 I got better and was competitive. 2020, I have improved a ton.

I like with this game if you practice, you really do get better.

what is your version of "practice". I'm like a.i. (Allen Iverson)when it comes to practice though he didn't need it as much as I obviously do. To give you an idea how bad I am right now, it took me eleven innings to finish a 3 inning conquest game,it was veteran level, I won 1-0, pitching I can get away with for awhile but hitting, man my timing is so bad it has me questioning myself. I've never felt so bad at baseball in all my life. True story, in 4th grade I could tell you what field I was hitting it to, I understood the timing and positioning even then, I was 9, I'm 43 now and am starting to understand how kids who couldn't do in real life must have and must now feel.I'm having a hard time with the patience aspect being its a computer game so I'm either getting lucky with a pitch or I'm trying patience and like a get so excited when I see a good pitch I'm like a kid seeing a woman for the first time and get too excited. I'm assuming doing batting practice in this game is my answer, my question is how should I practice? Just pick one pitcher set a level and spend several minutes on that pitcher, alternate pitchers? what pitchers are best? As someone who is tee ball level right now where should I begin? Quitting is easy so I enjoy this too much to do so. Thanks- you said you enjoyed the ramble, I gave ya more.

I am a die hard cubbie with much love for the d-backs and a's. that being said I realized I was just a few affinity's away from affinity Kerry Wood and mathematically realized from where I was to where I need to be I could get Kerry Wood for way cheaper than he is selling by doing the "exchange cub rivals" set. 6 Jose abreu's and a 79 Eric Davis gets you 10 cub affinity points. I was buying abreu for 1020 quick and easy, posted for 36 in increment of six meaning I posted 6 at 1020, 6 at 1019 on down and they were being eaten up quick. The lowest sell now was 1015 when I started, now its 1075 lol and I haven't bought a single one in over 2 hours. I Messed that strategy up lol

I just wanted to say I am sorry if I have offended anyone in
my infancy here. I'm brash but I grew up in a world more
brash meaning back in the day people would test you to see
where you stood i.e- are you gonna wither from pressure of
words 'cause if words make you wither you have no place
on my team 'cause a lot worse than words will be coming
your way in life. So being brash at first is a test unfortunately- and I truly mean "unfortunately" we live in a world where you can't even test a persons mettle with words. I mean no harm. I honestly hate h2h because of the obvious discrepancy in gameplay from cpu games to h2h games- which you don't see in certain popular platforms. That being said I just started playing in June so I'm as new as new gets with this, when I first started playing Madden ultimate team in '15 I would average 10-15 interceptions per game, no joke. I honestly got good enough to beat good squads I once beat 3 people while tripping acid while my roommate watched, I sent them messages telling them to stop spending money. My point is I know I can get better but when I suck I'm an [censored]. I'm the type of person who may not walk on the field and be the best just for walking on but by the time the day is done you'll be thinking of where you can put me in your starting lineup, so sucking at this is hard for me right now but I've realized this is a good site to get help with this so thank you and my hate threads towards h2h and SDS are over. Shout out to SDS, ya'll do a much better job than EA. I haven't had to spend a dime on this game minus initial cost(I got the best/ultimate version cheap in June, got lucky pulled Jacob Degrom in initial packs and have been able to roll from there). There's always room for improvement but sds>ea....I promise that's not bias because San Diego is my favorite city of all time, I'm from Nashville. Thanks for any and all who read my ramble.

Check out Operation Sport's summaries for each inning.
I was offline for the first inning and still made it to the 300 needed to get the boss. A key thing is to do the two offline missions each day (exchange and innings with a certain team's player). And the other thing to know is you get 1 star towards the inning program for every 2000 of experience you earn playing. So if you're playing a lot offline earning XP you can help yourself out there also.

Yep, you've really really got to try to get in Showdowns. Use reddit for that, someone posts a strategy summary which should help you with drafting. For example, with the 6th inning showdown, you don't need to draft a starting pitcher, and you only face RHPs, so draft all lefty's or switch hitters. Also, I really felt like Inside Edge helped me with this showdown... draft players who have boosts against RHPs.

I truly appreciate the advice but if the ball was on a tee in this game I probably still couldn't hit. I'll give you an example, it took me eleven innings to win a 3 inning game(conquest) that was on veteran difficulty, I won 1-0. My pitching is ok minus the occasional change-up I leave over the middle of the plate though in h2h it seems like I leave every thing over the plate lol. My patience runs thin and I just want to hit, hit, hit and not wait for the right pitch. I am getting better at in an aging snail pace. I'm usually too early or too late and I'm guaranteed to hit into a roundball double play when the opportunity presents itself.

Press the touch pad on the controller to go into like a quick menu, and there's an option called "profile" or something like that, you have to tab over to a place to set your icon and nameplate.

I'm talking about my team icon, whenever I play games with my team I always see the other teams' icon/avatar but just a blank space for mine- am I explaining it right?
