lol this is my opinion

I feel like this franchise has really regressed from mlb the show 21. Everything they fixed in previous years seems to have been undone. Check swings, foul balls, perfect contact foul balls, crazy 10 foot diving plays…etc. the content for mlb the show 23 was heavily recycled and the content for 24 has been bad other than season 2. Where is MVP Mike trout, 99 mickey mantle, and others that I know San Diego studios has the rights to. Season 3 starting with out of position player [censored] was just a huge turn off for anybody who’s not 12 and plays competitive

Grinding this season has actually been easy. Just the content is bad.

Maybe I am a bit biased and like things the traditional way but this new season has got to be the worst things I have ever seen. I’ve been playing for many years now and having to restart after every season just seems like I’ve wasted a lot of time. This game has finally hit rock bottom. I make World Series, go flawless, and grind countless hours every season to achieve nothing in the long run. See ya game

Seems like spamming cutter inside from a right handed pitcher to a left handed batter is the meta right now. I only play ranked on legend and hall of fame and it seems no matter how good my timing and contact is the ball is foul or lineout even if the pitch was a strike. Also the amount of perfect swing foul balls on inside pitches lately is crazy. Those who play on legend know how not fun the game becomes once you hit that peak.

The first I did when season 2 came out was open a season 2 cornerstone captains pack. I chose Stanton but now I do not have him? Seems to be a reoccurring problem in this game

I will square up a ball with good timing and the exit velocity will be 88 mph nearly every time. This game makes no sense. This seems to only happen to me on hall of fame and legend. Also hitting a slider away is stupid hard now. The timing in this game is so messed up on so many levels. If I swing early on a slider I’m very late. If I swing just early I hit a ball 500 foul. If I swing good it’s a fly out or a line out. The purpose of swinging just early is to pull the ball? Goes foul nearly every time. How do you manage to downgrade gameplay quality on a new game compared to previous? The content is recycled garbage and the gameplay is even more garbage. Rant completed

I just played a ranked game on hall of fame where my opponent had 70+ foul balls and I had 21. Meanwhile I square up a ball perfectly with good timing and it’s 80 exit velocity. This game is heading in a bad direction and has been massive disappointment for me. Anybody defending this is clueless or a new player

I used to be excited for the grind every year. This year just doesn’t feel the same. The programs are mid and the packs are plentiful. I’ve grinded everything to the point of completion and I still have no stubs to show for it. I’ve opened maybe a thousand regular packs to get only two lousy live series diamonds. I opened many headliners and ballin is a habit packs and still haven’t pulled a single diamond out of them. SDS really messed this game up. There was all this talk about balance amongst players but it is more like balance among who can buy the most stubs and spend it on packs! Ps a $100 for 100,000 stubs is a massive scam

The amount of terrible swings resulting in foul balls is ridiculous. I will throw multiple pitches in the dirt and my opponent will foul it off no matter if they are very late or very early. I then go to replay and it will show them fouling a ball off that is right down the middle rather than in the dirt where the pitch was actually thrown. I think they tampered with the game to make it easier for lesser skilled players.
