I’ve had Controller issues all year in MLB 23. 3 controllers. All of them don’t swing when I first start playing and then as they “warm up” they improve. Mostly. Still some not requested check swings. This mostly occurs in Diamond Dynasty (ie: seems ok in RTTS and Negro Leagues), and is fine in every other MLB that’s been on PS5. They are all fine in the menus and never had a problem in any other game. I have no solution for this but it has been interesting and frankly it was so annoying that I simply stopped playing after a while (most of my progress ended up being on PS4 because it worked). I hope these problems are gone in 24. But I guess we’ll see.

Hmm. That’s interesting. I’ll see if that could be it. Weird If it is. Thanks

Hi everyone. I’m having all kinds of issues with check swings this year. I’m on PS5. I’ve had the same problem on 3 separate controllers. I was prepared to tear them apart and see if they are all just poorly built (still may) but I tried them all in MLB22 and they swing perfectly about 97% of the time (I think i had 7 unexpected checks and 1 was a slip of my thumb VS X button issue. Took roughly 210 swings. 70/controller). On top of that they all work fine in other games. I’ve put a bug report in already in case this is a known thing but has anyone else had this problem? The guys online mostly use Xbox now so I’m wondering if it’s strictly a PS5 thing (haven’t tried PS4 yet. But I’m going to have resort to that soon because this is unplayable)

I played a quick conquest game this AM around 10am Eastern and everything counted. BUT I P1’d Skubal but since my games yesterday didn’t count I still have more PXP to get the mission done in the POTM program.
So individual PXP counted, just not towards the programs.
Sigh.

Is anyone else playing tonight and not having their progress count towards the FOTF program, Always Intense Program and May POTM program? I’ve played 3 conquest games and while the PXP shows up on the individual cards, it’s not accumulating in the programs. And like the PS4 it shows no progress at the end of each game. This worked perfectly for me yesterday. I have submitted a report to SDS but I’m curious if others are also having this.

I too have not managed to get my 4 Twitch packs into my inventory. I only have PS consoles and have verified my accounts are linked to the MLB the Show account I have repeatedly. Something certainly feels like it’s not working correctly

If you have the SHOW app, on its main page there is an article that says Twitch Drops are Back. If you look at it, it outlines everything pretty well.
Having said that I’ve my accounts linked for 3 years and have yet to receive my Twitch Dropa this year. So far.

I don’t know if it’s possible (it wasn’t on Shownation) but I would like to be able to Quick sell (ie: get my 1000 base stubs for a gold). Currently I have to wait until I’m back at my console.
I also noticed that if you have a lot (>= 50) of orders, the app only shows you the 50 most recent. Maybe this is just how it is but I would like to see my complete order list so I can adjust easier.
I think the app is great for being brand new. These are wants more than needs really.

It's worth mentioning his Drone incident when he was in Cleveland, during the 2016 playoffs, where he had a hand injury when he was fixing a drone and it mangled his pitching hand when the props turned on full tilt, pitched anyway (was not allowed to cover it as it would be considered a foreign object) and the wound opened up and he started bleeding during the game. Which led to him being removed from the game.

This is a question for SDS, but if anyone else knows the answer, happy to hear it. I have struggled a great deal this year with hitting (yes. I might be the only one). Not simply complaining about getting Good Goods, or PCIs not matching with the hit delivered (though I do agree that these are issues). My complaint has been that I can't seem to hit on ANY mode (full disclosure, I'm mostly offline, but occasionally try BR or RS). I have yet to complete a Showdown (except the baby wheels Starter one) because I can't get more than about 2 runs in any game mode.
Last night i looked at my settings and both pitching and hitting were set to Legend. My recollection was that they had been set by me on opening day at veteran. I reset them to veteran, but have not had a chance to play since.
How much does the game setting difficulty affect what you do in various game modes? Ranked should be determined by rating. BR is All-Star right through. Events are determined by the parameters. Conquest depends on fan numbers/steal fan choices. etc. So I'm curious if I've been awful at hitting because my settings were not ideal for me, or the other choice, where I'm just bad at hitting (yes. I've considered THAT as well).
Just curious. I'll maybe know better tonight after the patch/work is done etc.
Thanks

No but I'm taking my PS4 with me on a trip with my family so that I can still enjoy the 4 early access days. Somehow, with my family's blessing as well.
