With 320+ plus chances for the owner of the Chipper card to get 1M stubs, and the lack of anything else on the market to save stubs for, I don't see people even selling their Chippers. So merry Christmas if you're lucky?

The optimistic side of me makes me think this will be a tiered collection (similar to the Prospects) where you get different levels of POtM cards on the way to the almighty card which will be EXTRA juiced at the end

They are special cards that were given to those real life players to use in the game. Nobody else besides them will ever have those cards

I think there was a Griffy JR/SR one last year when you had to go back-to-back, but they had the cards juiced to 125 everything
