Mine is gone too. I hope the developers offer to put them in again. I had to go through their operation sports forum many years ago to get it out in the last time.

If you just beat showdown on Hall of Fame then I'd recomment moments. I'm not good at the game and completed the Yelich, Gehrig and Mariano Rivera moments. Took me 30 to 40 tries on Yelich and Gehrig but I did get it done. It is more about persistence than ability.

I wonder if they lowered power for the dead ball event?

Agree this showdown is too difficult and not fun at all.

Almost 50 here. Does it help with your eyes? Mine get really red/dried out using a TV.

I do like that better. I would have liked an option this year for just one dot in the middle or diamond instead of 3.

I honestly can't understand why more people aren't complaining about this. I feel like I fight the baserunning as much as the bosses when playing showdown. Runners with low speed/stealing just attempt to steal bases without my input. They just stand still like a deer in headlights for 3 seconds on at least one pick off attempt per showdown. They round bases too far and get thrown out. They try to take an extra base on base hits to the outfield and get thrown out at second. And like the original post states they don't advance on no doubt hits to the gap. Costs me at least 4 outs every final showdown I play.

This is horrible! Would be ok on PS5 or Xbox series x but with these consoles I can’t stand it.

Great videos. Seems like these tips would work against CPU as well. I was wondering if you had any other advice/tips specifically for hitting against CPU.

He's right you can take longer than 5 innings to get strikeouts. I use meter and it helped a lot to throw with extra power (in the red) when I had 2 strikes on a batter.

I've completed every moment and mission except this one. I've been trying 2 or 3 conquest games a night for over a month but I can not hit triples with him to save my life.

I agree we should be able to realign divisions however we want even eliminate some teams. I would also like an option to change the stadiums for each team that way we could have a retro mode/season with classic stadiums.

A lot of great suggestion/ideas in this thread.

My main hope for improvements for the next show would be:

1. A trophy room and a place to store/view highlights (first hit, first homerun, 500th homerun etc)
2. An easier way to create highlights after a game (Just pick from a few different view like broadcast, On the field etc and the save)
3. More stories for after you make it to the Majors (Pennant race, overall team performance and interactions with other players)
4. Make a big deal out of milestone accomplishments before, after and during the accomplishment (like 3000th hit)
5. Hall of fame cut up reel of some of your biggest moments.

I don't see why they can't make Showdowns at all difficulties like they do for MTO. If you play at lower difficulty you get way less points than at higher difficulty. Then at least most of us could finally enjoy what seems like a very fun mode.

I agree that MTO should be more points. I also would appreciate it if they made the stage 1 team affinity showdowns a little bit easier.
