Here is the current work around for the network error glitch in the league. If your in another league, enter that league, then toggle through the dashboard to the message board section (not ALL or NEWS) type something in, it doesn't matter what, and then go back to this league and it should work. This has worked for me 100% of the time and as long as you don't back out of custom leagues completely, you can get back in.

Season one of our league finished up, but I had to simulate games. Once we played our alloted games to make sure the correct teams made the posetseason, because I have the amount of series games higher than the total number of games I would expect to play in the season.

Today my users tried to start the playoffs and the game froze and gave a network error. From my understanding, this is a glitch from SDS due to the simming? And was also told the only way around it was to join your second league (if you are in one), write in the message board, and it lets you back in the now glitched league (Becase I would like to complete the postseason if we can). Is there a way to fix this? Will the league go back to normal after the postseason if I advance the league again?

Is there a way to stop the league from glitching out at all? Just wanted to know if anyone else has experienced this? Because I can't find anything.

Correct!

You have been able to do this the last two years now. Any team that isn't filled by human players are controlled by the CPU.

Just wondering, if I created a 30 team, 162ish game live series custom league who would be interested?

Rules would be:

• 30 Team League

• 7 Game Series

• 203 Regular season games

• Games against CPU allowed if teams can't be filled

• 9 Innings

• HOF difficulty

• Umpire balls and strikes personalized

• Balks off

• Universal DH (Thanks to the new rule)

• Quick counts off

• Guess pitch off

• 8 team Postseason

• Best of five postseason series until the WS which would be best of seven

• Flexible scheduling (Play as you can!)

• If trades are deemed to be lopsided, the commissioner can force the trade the be reversed.

• Multiple reports of spamming the game, (holding the R2 button, continued spamming of bunts, etc, could result in being kicked out of the league.

• Must play at your team's home ballpark

• As for who is home and away for the game. I have added a coinflip room. Someone will call heads or tails for home field and then you guys will flip in that room. Whoever wins the toss will be home.

Obviously user trades are allowed. Doing this is another league and it's extremely fun!

I wouldn't plan to launch until the MLB season actually starts in hopes of having updated rosters. Just curious if anyone would be interested in a custom season that was close to the real thing?!

Has anyone else noticed when you are playing MLB custom leagues. Under my team, they are using the Live series ratings. But when you are setting up your lineup right before the game starts, it shows their offline ratings. Do we know which ratings SDS is using?!

I assume it's the live series ratings because those adjust as the player performs during the season? (Assuming there is a season at this point.)
