Actually if you go through your players. Write down those with the best Plate discipline and those who have your worst. Then put a check next to them every time they are successful and an X when they are not. You will see there is actually a huge difference. Plate discipline plays a huge role this year.

I mean that could be the case. I do feel like the guys I use have good stats and I’ll get a lot of called strikes where I literally barely touch swing and the guy barely even lifts the bat from his shoulder. On my screen it doesn’t even show him doing the half swing animation and pulling it back. He barely twitches and it’s called a strike.

I wonder if it could be a connection thing for me then.

This year the check swinging is straight up broke. I get so many strike calls on check swings where the bat barely comes off the batters shoulder. I don’t ever remember it being like this. They are almost always called a strike even if you barely touch the swing button. The “feedback” isn’t correct at all either. Sometimes the feedback will even agree with me that I technically didn’t swing, but the ump still calls it a strike. I don’t get it. It’s probably a connection issue or something that’s causing this, but this definitely needs to be fixed.

All star is terrible. The dumbest hits happen on All Star. You can literally have late/early hits all game long where the PCI doesnt touch the ball and its terribly frustrating. My opponents will have 15 strike outs with 8 hits that have no business being hits, and score freaking 5 runs or something dumb. I almost think being off on the PCI sometimes will get better results during certain situations in game, than having good timing and decent PCI placement lol. HOF is definitely better as far as PCI placement and timing mattering alot more which I like. The only thing I dont like, is going back and forth from AS to HOF on ranked and the pitch timing. Once you get used to HOF speed, its not bad, but Id like if they made it with AS pitch speeds/timing window but PCI size and placement mattering like it does on HOF.

Same thing happened twice to me yesterday while I was leading. One happened in the ninth when I was up 4-1 and I just hit a home run and it didn’t even go over the wall yet and it said I lost connection with opponent. I thought he just quit midair like some people do, but when it went to the game summary it gave me the loss… so dumb.

First thing Ill say right off the bat, we need Bo Jackson in this game already... Ive been playing The Show since DD started, and I have always wanted to play with this guy. It would be so awesome to have a prime version that has ridiculous power, 99 speed, great fielding, and a monster arm. There are alot of other players that haven't been in the game as well, and I think its about darn time they get them added... Guys like Randy Johnson, Roy Halladay, Johan Santana, Roger Clemens, Josh Beckett, Sammy Sosa, McGwire, Bonds, Manny Ramirez, Rafael Palmeiro, Juan Gonzalez, Bernie Williams, Paul O'Neill, Jeff Kent, ARod, Carl Yastrzemski, and so on.... I could name so many more that haven't been in the game yet. Who else are you wishing would be in this game?

They just need to put guys like Sosa, McGwire, Bonds/Stocker, Palmero, etc into the game already... I dont care about the [censored] steroids. It would be so awesome to be able to use these guys finally.
