Currently ranked 869. Been playing for a few years, have never even come close to making World Series. This is by far the furthest I've ever made it in ranked.
Going to make the push for it when I get home from work tonight.
Any tips would be appreciated and wish me luck my dudes!!

With no tours/shows happening and very few studios in my area operational, I've gone back to my post high school job of making cabinets in a wood shop. Not quite as exciting if you can believe it.

Dominating the game, dude couldn’t hit AT ALL. Then in one inning he hits bombs on about 5 straight pitches to take a one run lead. Can’t hit since that inning…sorry that’s not legit.

Small sample size but Thome has become one of my favorite cards. Just hits everything hard and has such a smooth swing. Had a 3HR game for me in Ranked the other night.

I've been running Eric Davis in CF, debating giving Brock a try though. Those who have tried both, who do you prefer?

Brock - LF
Mantle - CF
Walker - RF

Honorable mentions are Trout and Beli who have both spent time in LF for me. Brock has made it hard to take him out of the lineup.

Remember when we were all positive that Paxton wouldn't be the POTM card because we didn't think they would have 2 Mariners in the same program? It would not surprise me at all if they have Mantle for the LS and DiMaggio for the Honus collection.

As far as pitching goes, I would recommend Hamels if you play on HOF+ consistently, if not, your 5 spot is probably fine.

Edit: also, test out Jorge Posada. I know Panda is a switch hitter too, but Jorge has over a 1.700 OPS for me in about 60 PA.

I tried out Posada and it just didn't click. Gave Pablo a shot and love his swing.
I've been debating trying out Banks for forever, might have to give it a shot.

Got some stubs to spend, looking to change things up a bit. Anyone I should go after? What are my weak points in your opinion?

But back to the topic at hand...

I'd rate your team a solid 9/10.

Your lineup is just about as good as it can get, no doubt about that. I love Pablo at catcher, he's a sneaky option that is, in my opinion, a top-5 option back there. Your rotation is excellent and looks like it needs just one more elite starter to make it pretty much "end-game;" in fact I think Maddux, Kluber, and Orel will be in a lot of folks rotations still in November. Tom Seaver has a good chance to join that group as well, I just haven't gotten the chance to unlock and use him yet (but I'm getting there!)

The only area I can see that you could clearly improve is the bullpen, Fernando Rodney is awful this year, in my opinion. His card is usually one of my favorite relievers each year but there's something just off with this year's version, not only is he easy to hit but from my own experience and from what I've seen and heard from other players, it's just so difficult to trust him to find the strike-zone consistently. If you do well with him, then disregard everything I said and keep rolling with him. On paper,. he should be one of the better budget relievers out there but he doesn't play how his attributes tell you he should.

I know there are folks that will defend Franco to the end but to me, I would much rather have Jake McGee or even Zack Britton. That said, he's not a bad reliever at all. He's just not the top of the line, cream of the crop as the late, great "Macho Man" Randy Savage would put it.

I have found myself having a harder time trusting both Rodney and Franco so it's funny you say that. My go to guys are always Dibble, Gagne, Chapman and Fingers. I had Britton earlier in the cycle and he consistently got shelled for me. Never tried McGee, but always have a hard time facing him. He might be the move here.
