Going to disagree, only because when you use Prime cards, you're locked into the vintage card art which, for most players, is downright awful.
That example is a particularly bad picture, but there are plenty of good looking cards from back in the day to choose from. It would be nice to see some variety rather than seeing an awards or milestone card 75% of the time.
Also, reading about how Porcello won the Cy Young is just upsetting.
I know awards cards look cool and all, but Stargell had easily better seasons in 71’ and 73’ where his OPS was more than .100 points greater than his MVP season. Imo, he should have a prime card, but SDS continues to neglect the prime cards.
Bottom line: SDS, give us more prime cards

Joking aside, what is your deal? Do you enjoy (unsuccessfully) putting others down? What I ask would be a simple fix and I’m almost sure would not take away from SDS’ efforts to improve the game elsewhere. So I’m not sure who your gripe is with, but it definitely should not be with me.
Side note: the main focus of MLBTS has been DD for a few years now and is unlikely to change in the near future. So if you’re looking for more “realistic” baseball, turn up the difficulty or look elsewhere.
Hey SDS, can you change Nolan Ryan’s cleats to be a non high-top style? Obviously, he is not wearing them or any similar style of cleats in his card picture and the Griffey cleats with high socks just looks bad.
When throwing splitters using pinpoint pitching, the gesture requires you to go immediately left, clockwise 180 degrees, and then 90 degrees counter-clockwise to finish the gesture. The problem with this is that the game will think that your gesture is complete when the 180 degree turn passes over the top of the circle, often resulting in pitches with roughly 50% accuracy. Sometime this does not happen and the game receives the gesture as intended, but that is few and far in between.
If there is something I am missing on how to throw the splitter please let me know. Otherwise this is something that NEEDS to be fixed, or else the splitter will be made unreliable and useless.
Also, I forgot how to report bugs/glitches, so if someone could point me to that link, I’d appreciate it.
Do people ever get tired of pitching to the high sinker meta? I know I certainly get tired of seeing high sinkers every other game. It just sucks the fun out of the game when a majority of players utilize a broken pitching mechanic.
I know this is just me complaining, and that I have could do the same, but it feels like there is no sportsmanship. It’s a video game and people are going to play how they want, but I just want to know that there are other players out there that feel the same.
How can the picture they chose for Mike Schmidt’s Face of the Franchise card NOT have his mustache?

Really?!? I’m not talking about the card design themselves, I’m talking about the picture of the individual player just to be clear.
Some of these player’s pictures are just awful! They should be changed SDS! If we complain enough about the pictures for the stage 3 face of the franchise cards, can we get SDS to change some of the players pictures?

The picture they chose for Bagwell in stage 3 of team affinity is just bad. Some of the other pictures are not so great looking too.
Please change some of the stage 3 pictures SDS!

Something similar happened to be before too, except when I started striking out to end the inning, he began throwing balls. Worse, when I started swinging at the balls to strikeout, he began throwing them in the dirt and would intentionally not make the throw to first. On top of that, I eventually began to steal home to intentionally get out, and he still managed to dive out of the way to avoid tagging my runner. I eventually got out enough times to end the game somehow.
Bottom line though, some people do these things for no legitimate reason. You just have to remind yourself that and be thankful that you were raised better.
Recently, it seems as if pitch speeds have been reduced on HOF difficulty in ranked seasons. Does anyone else notice this?
Also, I would like to add, I think that cutters are artificially slowed down in this years game. E.g. a cutter clocked at 93 mph feels like 88/89 mph.
One last thing that’s kind of off topic, but my observation: high sinkers almost look like curveballs out of the hand, and as a result, appear to come in much faster than expected. I hope SDS can fix the sinker cheese for next years game.

I have been noticing that Chipper seems to be a frequent victim of good/okay hits. Has anyone else felt like something is off when hitting with Chipper?

I have a specific example where my pci was what I would rate a 13 or 14 and the feed back said 11 and resulted in a lazy flyout. In that same game, I barely clip the ball with my pci, and the game tells me it’s a 12 rated pci placement and results in a fairly deep flyout. This is all against the same lefty pitcher, who I would expect chipper to mash, but it seems user input for him is irrelevant.
Odd thing happened in MTO:
Player locked as Acuna, I go 3-6 with a double, triple, and homerun. I did strikeout in my first at bat however. My home run tied the game in the bottom of the 9th with two outs, and my triple in extras provided the winning run.
When I left the game however, announcers were saying “Acuna wasn’t on his game today”. I get no player boosts and receive a snowflake for my team momentum, despite winning in extra innings.
Has this happened to anyone else? Is there a fix?
