@SaveFarris_PSN It’s not just Nike, it’s nearly every brand that’s in the game. We have had almost identical gear for almost every brand for the past 5 years. You’re right, I’m no expert on licensing agreements, but I know enough about marketing to know that these baseball brands aren’t all limiting SDS on what they can put into the game equipment wise, especially mostly baseball exclusive brands like Rawlings, Easton, G-Form, Evoshield, etc. who don’t have any license agreements with any other sports games and could use the marketing to sell their equipment to kids who see certain gear in game. Again, look at the amount of Nike, Under Armour, and Adidas gear in 2K and Madden and explain why they’re gatekeeping MLB The Shows equipment while allowing Madden and 2K to use hundreds of different models of gear with the newest gear and items being added every year without ever getting rid of old gear

@Easy_Duhz_It__PSN Your comparison doesn’t work because there are alternative restaurants you could go to so if you’re going to the same one every week there’s a good chance you actually like it. There is no alternative to The Show. You either cough up your $70 for whatever SDS rolls out each year or you don’t get to play an MLB game.

@SaveFarris_PSN Absolutely not, 100% an SDS call. You think Nike, who obviously already has an agreement with SDS is just not going to allow SDS to use their newest equipment? Look at all the equipment in other sports games. Nike gets advertising for products in the game, why would they only allow SDS to have products they don’t even sell anymore in the game? Take a look at the different fielding glove models and customization options and you’ll see everything you need you to know to conclude SDS doesn’t give a rats you know what about the equiptment in the game.

@Easy_Duhz_It__PSN What are you talking about they’ve improved more than any other sports game on a yearly basis? They haven’t done one thing to improve the game between years that couldn’t have been implemented in a title update. The only thing anyone outside of DD has gotten in the past 5 years is high school and college in RTTS which takes up all of about 10 minutes of gameplay. You’re acting like SDS is walking on water when in reality the average player could play The Show 17 and have a similar enough experience to The Show 25. I mean I’m not one of those graphics over gameplay guys, but GTA5 was 1 year old the last time we had any substantial graphics change and with The Show 26 looking exactly the same GTA6 will be out before we get one. Their lack of improvement in the game on a yearly basis makes me think they’re spending 9 months out of the cycle focusing exclusively on DD and then throwing together a new menu and a couple bare minimum features starting in December so they can charge us $70 again in March.

@Dinger_Dan19_PSN If they gave us the ability to have 4 different uniforms and gave us the ability to mix and match like we can with teams in play now we would have 36 different variations of uniforms to wear compared to the 2 we have now. The fact that this hasn’t already be addressed by SDS is ridiculous as it would be such a simple upgrade. Honestly it’s probably something that could easily be done in a small patch update between yearly releases.

I know it’s a long shot that we’ll get a complete rework of the uniform creator this year, that being said there’s an addition that I would think would be ultra simple to implement. If they would simply give us the ability to mix and match uniform items pre game with created teams in franchise and diamond dynasty like they allow when you’re using an MLB team it would substantially help with repetitive feel I sometimes get when I have to play every game in the exact same 2 uniform combinations. Throw in an addional third (alternate) uniform you can customize for your team and you’d have a total of 27 different uniform combinations between those 3 custom uniforms if you could change the cap, jersey, and pants pregame. I know most of the conversations here revolve around Stadium Creator, but I have to imagine the changes I suggested above would only take a few minutes for the devs to code. Maybe I’m wrong and maybe nobody really cares, but that’s one simple fix that would vastly improve my personal experience with the game.

@TheBigPapa55_PSN No, SDS is officially worse than EA. EA actually listened and vastly improved the Teambuilder from college football 25 to 26.

As someone who does an entire fantasy league every year and has to recreate all 30 teams I second this 1000%.

@gharris09_PSN Did you replace a team that plays in an indoor stadium? If so that's your problem. I created a franchise with the Rays and I never get rain or night games. Would be a simple fix I would think but who knows.

Not on PS5 Pro but I'm on Xbox Series S and mine crashed after about 45 minutes of working on a stadium over the weekend. I know I probably should have been saving along the way but I'd never had an issue with the game crashing before so I didn't think to save every few minutes.

@SDS_JoeK_PSN Sorry about that, got a little carried away with the response, I posted in bullet points to help make it easier to process!

1. Ability to create a team to be used for play now.
   • We already have the ability to create a team for franchise mode, if we could simply use those teams in play now with a custom drafted roster that would be awesome. Would be nice for things like having a couple buddy's draft custom teams and play against each other locally.
2. Free placement of logos and shape in uniform creator.
   • It would be nice to be able to place your logos on your jersey and pants in a similar fashion to how it works in NBA 2k where you can basically place the different logos and shapes anywhere on the jersey you want. This would open up the door to much more creativity.
3. More jersey design and stripe templates to choose from
4. Different jersey/pants styles
   • For example, the option to choose between button down, two button, sleeveless or V-neck pullover jerseys like some of the throwback uniforms have, or the baggy vintage knickers like the negro league players have. Also, the ability to set a uniform default that makes every player wear certain types of items like knickers regardless of their preferred pants
5. Ability to create a couple alternate uniforms (or at least mix and match home and aways)
   • It would help to create variety if you could change the uniform before each game and wear your home cap with the away jersey and home pants for example rather than being forced to wear the exact same 2 uniforms for the entirety of the 162-game season year in and year out with your created team.

   These are just some things that I personally think would make the team creator feature astronomically better and more fun.

@trfatboy22_PSN What's embarrassing is you ignoring literally everything and failing to acknowledge that there has been basically no significant changes in any of the last 4 games. Sure high school and college in RTTS is cool but that lasts all of like 8 games then its over with. We are actually losing feature from year to year at this point. The stadium creator is all but completely broken. They eliminated the Xbox One and PS4 versions just for us to still have the exact same graphics that the game has had for the past 10 years. You're an absolute homer if you've bought this game for the past 5 years and believe the updates they've made were worth the $350 it cost to own each of the last 5 iterations. As a mostly offline player who plays franchise, RTTS, play now, and occasionally dabbles in Diamond Dynasty I honestly feels like I've been paying to have features taken away. This year I feel like I spent $70 in order to exchange my Stadium Creator and Franchise league for 20 AB's with a metal bat that I can't even choose. Your comment has to be a joke honestly.

@PriorFir4383355_XBL Right, I think they should just go ahead and hook us up with 2k levels of creativity as far as the uniforms go. It would also be nice to be able to mix and match items like home jerseys with away caps and pants just like you're able to do with the real MLB teams.

I'm so glad I'm not the only one who's had this thought. Add in some camo patterns for the uniforms or give us the ability to switch to two button, or pullover/ v neck jerseys. It would also be nice to be able to create an alternate and be able to piece the uniforms together from game to game like we can with real teams in franchise mode (Wear home jersey with away pants and cap). I know its a longshot but if they really wanted to nail the uniform customization they could open up logo placement like 2k where you could really have creative control.
