I've just started out a few weeks ago, here are a couple of tips that I got:
Do the Blake Snell Program - dont necessarly get Snell (as you have to lock in players), but grind and get two $5-6K diamonds and one that was about $25K, although the prices could be a bit lower now, than they were a week ago.
Conquest - do the small maps. I did the 4th inning map in a night and got a ton of packs, stubs etc. - I'm now going to start working through the other small maps for the same reason.
Showdowns - I have only done one, but again it was something I could knock off in a night. I don't fully understand the showdowns, but they will give you points towards the programs, which I think is the big draw to them. Don't forget that you can adjust your line up after every game to put in your upgraded players (I didn't realize this until the end, and made a couple of bad swaps because I couldn't remember which players I had gotten in prior rounds)
Player Evolution - I took CarGo and got the card in an afternoon. The moments and missions aren't that difficult.
Work on the other player programs. I havent started here, but there are 3-4 guys that I will go after. i assume that this is also going to help me get points towards those programs which should get me more loot!
Anyways, that's what I have learned from the forum and the game. Enjoy and don't buy packs!
cosmic_wonders nailed it!
Thanks for that info. The no sell players is so key, because then you can have all of your stubs working for you at all time.
One trick that I use is to sell all golds are higher at the end of any game sesion. Then before I play I hop on, place a few buy orders and get playing. You can play showdowns while you are waiting for buy orders to come in. I now have about $225K in stubs to play with in two weeks. I have had a few lucky pulls (Yelich, and Flaherty) which net me about $40K. So at this point my team is typically low to mid 90 diamond players and I make probably 5-15K everytime I buy and sell a team.
So this makes the benefit of those no sell players even higher IMO. Now I have BO CarGo, so I no longer need to spend on a CF. Once I get to where i have 6-8 no sell players and a good stub base, i will start to go after collections. I just want to make sure I have enough stubs to buy whatever players I want (within reason) when I want to play RS, and the rest is expendable.
@cosmic_wonders - I am also wondering on why you would go after Trout first. My thought was to go after the division that I would like the players from the most, and work around like that.
Which division is the best to knock out first?

Featured Programs (Inning Bosses) I would start from the most current (4th inning) down.. which would get u 96 overall Felix Hernandez & more than 100K in stubs if u sell the other 3 bosses. (again never collect so you could always sell)
@cosmic_wonders is Felix Hernandez unsellable? And how do you get the other 3 bosses that you can sell for 100K?
Hi All,
I havent played the show much since '18 and am wondering what the smart move is on getting your DD team going? When I was playing before I would start with Conquest and that put me in a good position to start to compete in the ranked seasons ( i would also do some buying and selling on the side to upgrade my squad).
Now with all of the programs, I'm not sure that is still the best strategy.
Any tips on the programs to complete early to get a good base of players for ranked seasons? Is Conquest still worth it?
Thanks for your help,
Chedda
So with some help from this forum I've been able to put together a decent line up and accumulate some stubs but now I'm not sure what to do next.
I've got 350K in stubs and the following no sell players (typically I will purchase a cards to fill my line up to play RS, and then sell them afterwards): SP - 89 POTM Chase Anderson C - 87 POTM G Sanchez, 85 POTM M Zuino 1B - 97 POTM C Bellinger, 87 POTM J Aguilar 2B - 92 POTM DJ LeMahiu SS - 89 AS O Vizquel OF - 90 BO Cargo, 90 Rookie H Wagner, 88 Rookie A Dawson
My focus is on making a push in RS - currently I am sitting in the 500's right now.
I think my next steps are to complete the April program for Didi, and start doing the TA exchanges to get some FOTF and FS cards.
The ones that I am thinking of targeting are Yankees (Torres and Schmidt), Rays (Snell and Brujan), Indians (Santana and Jones)/Cardinals (Gorman), Angels (Ohtani and Marsh), Rangers (Gallo), Nationals (Soto and Garcia), Reds (Lodolo), Dodgers (Turner and Graterol), Padres (Tatis Jr and Trammell) - which should i go after first? Or am I better off waiting to see the TA3's drop and go after those payers that I like?
When should I start to do the live series collection? Is it a good way to get good end game cards, or am i better to focus on TA and purchase big cards from the market?
Thanks in advance, any ideas or suggestions are appreciated.
Chedda!
I'm at a point where I have gotten a nice bank of stubs and am trying to decide what I should do at this point. Do I complete the LS collection, work on completing the Team Affinity's so that I am prepared for stage 4, or use the stubs to rent players from the market to complete my team (This is what I have been doing)
I've got 325K in stubs, plus Sig Series Rivera (could get 90K), and LS Trout (could get 200K)
My locked in players are:
SP - 99 Kluber, 99 Paxton, 95 Lodolo, 93 Graterol, and 92 Schmidt RP - 95 Diaz, and 87 Neris
C - Grastrol and Sanchez 1B - Bellinger 2B - Didi SS - Correa 3B - Gorman OF - Trout, 93 Laureano, Wagner, Cargo, DJ LeMa
I dont have the time to put into the game to grind out the team affinities, so I would more than likely just be purchasing players for the exchanges.
What do you think the best play is? I am also at Bronze 92ish, so should be able to pick up a 99 this week, have been thinking that I will take Posey, but please let me know your thoughts on this as well.
Thanks

You will get some stubs back for LS collection. And you will get packs for TA exchange. Really it comes down to what you need towards the LS collection?
I would need the majority of players to complete the LS. The only top player i have is Trout.
@CDNMoneyMaker93 said in FYI DOTP pack POTM collection:
If you have completed all the POTM programs there is now a DOTP pack given as a reward when you lock in Paxton along with 4k stubs and 7500k XP
How do I do this? I have all of the POTM players locked in via their prestige program.
Does the July program drop tomorrow? When do they typically go live?
How do you collect the 4th inning voucher that is worth 75 points?
Thank you. Are there other 'easy' ways to get points on the programs. I have also completed the conquests, as I find those fairly easy to do.
I think that I have been missing something on the showdowns. How do you win the bosses? Is it just by hitting level 300 within the program?
Can I do the 4th inning program Showdown multiple times and get the points towards the program twice, or is there no point to completing the same showdown twice?
I have somehow gotten Kenny Lofton locked into my lineup. I picked him up the other night, and when I went to sell him, it says that he is still in my lineup, and he is not.
His price has gone up a fair bit, so I was wondering if maybe other people were having the same problem.
