Played last night and opened about 20 packs no diamonds but have had awesome luck. Bought Jram to finish of the Cleveland collection.

I think these are really fun cause the rush you get when it pops up is awesome. Kinda feel like the forgot about it cause the added 2 cards right away now nothing since

The happy middle would be that once you reach a new level you don't fall back to a prior level so you have to keep winning to get to the next teir. By doing this you will be forced to keep playing cause you have to try and win versus those who are in your division and only way to get out is to win and keep moving up. Also innings can stay for the program as more people should stay in game cause quiting out does nothing for them cause you stay were you are

People would just quit out when their rating gets close to the next tier.

Why you would just be quiting as you don't fall back so what purpose would.quiting be at that point other then "I don't like losing cause my mommy always let me win" kinda moment

Maybe I’m misunderstanding this. My thought was as you were approaching the next tier, people would start losing to lower their rating to avoid going up to the next tier. For example, I’m in CS and my rating is starting to approach WS, I would start losing yo get back to the bottom of the CS rating tier in order to stay there and not go to WS. I know that’s a bad example but I hope you get the idea.

Sorry if I am not being super clear I'm saying if you lose you don't lose point you stay where you are so of you quit cause your losing it does nothing for you cause you remain right were you are so of you want to progress you have to win. The idea is people play full games cause either A you hit innings an get the pack or reach the goal and get the pack or grind it out for both

But if that was the case the whole Idea of a wins/ innings program is pointless. If you don't lose points for a loss even the worst player can luck into hitting 900 with enough games played

It might be a turn off for lower tiered players as they will eventually make their way to higher difficulty levels and will genuinely be outmatched and annoyed playing on a level above all star.

This is why I think it's a middle ground, cause you will filter out the pretenders from the contenders and it make reaching either Milestone ranking and/or innings more meaningful and valuable

I have always hated the moonshot event, I don't think I have ever really played one past the first day. I see the appeal for sure just don't find it fun myself. Mini season grind here I come

Can we maybe look at a positive here and see some good that game of this. The fact that this change to multiple platform lead to a full fledged feature rich sports game on the Switch. Nintendo sports fan deserve so much better and finally got one and one that works very well. I love love MLB on the switch and being able to play switch and then move over to Xbox and everything is there.

Seems like all the weirdness got even worse when this game became cross-platform, imo.
I'm glad XBox users can play since they no longer had a console baseball game, but things did get a bit crazier with the servers especially with new consoles on-board.
Gran Turismo stayed exclusive, so did Forza. Should the show have?
Do they look greedy for expanding?
It's hard to say, but I think what I'm saying is true.

You do know that it was MLB that told them to release the game on other platforms.

It's never come out but likely Sony agreed to the deal to go multiple platform likely because it's agreement depended on it and if Sony didn't agree they would have either not renewed the agreement or and I what is a more likely outcome told Sony that they would extend the lic to other developers and Sony wanted to be the soul beneficiary of the license so agree to make it for all platforms

It was low class. The astros fans didn't cheat, the players and coaches did. I very seriously doubt the millionaire players care what sds puts in the game, but a 12 year old fan might. This game is for kids after all.

The Yankees are actively trying to hide a letter about their involvement in 2017 sign stealing.. not a peep for sds or baseball fans.

The Redsox were caught cheating as well. Again, not a peep from sds, or baseball fans.

Nope. Let's dog pile the astros fans because millionaire players they have never even met or spoken too cheated, its silly. Last year the astros fans hardly got any content in the game, and now this year we get a program but it's laced with some Californian biased dev joke. It's ridiculous.

Sorry man, but you try being an astros fan on the internet. It's exhausting.

I mean being a part of any fan base is exhausting for many different reasons. I am sure Pirates fan would trade their team and ownership for one that "cheated" to win a world series.

I personally don't havean issue with what the Astros did and what ever label they want to put on it fact of the matter was they were the better team in many aspect in 2017 and won. If you let people get to you because they say your team cheated just remind them that the banner still hangs at the stadium.

POTM is currently no different in its progress it's only notable change right now is the addition of stages with stage one just being TOPPS now moments in a path. Stage 2 and 3 are new but will be the POTM cards plus the legend lighting card which has been a community request for a while.

The programs needing only pxp is such a great move and one I have enjoyed alot especially the cover program with basicly 80% of my line up being players I haven't used.

The potential for programs with this is great and makes me hopeful for a program like 2017's finest program where you had get stats with each card series. How easy would it be to add repeatable pxp mission for rookies or breakout players for either a big program or a program dedicated to that series alone.

This community clearly got to comfortable with the same program format for 3 years straight and hasn't handled change very well. Remember that 16 was different then 17, 17 was different then 18, 18 was different then 19 and ts was so refreshing each year and rhis year as that feeling cause we don't k own what's coming next and that's actually exciting instead of oh here is 3 new boss cards

It's was funny and should have stay in the game.

Astros fan who still get triggered when they say there team cheater but are quick to point out other who cheat

MLB fans still triggered that Astros cheated but can't accept that everyone cheats and the history of the game is littered with cheating.

The 2017 Astros are world Champs cause they cheated better then everyone else that year

Let's get facts straight here with the servers 2021 they were nor ready for the expanded player base and 2nd console.

2022 they were ready and I would argue that the servers in 2022 have been better then any other launch of the game as we have not had any extended outages of the game.

Since the game released I have lost 2 games to a freeze off and O have played well over 100 event games
