What do yo mean by stub transfers?

About what time does everyone think the crash will be at it's lowest? Right away or after a few hours? Or does it last awhile before bouncing back so there's no real window to have to act quick?

What kings said. I’m a mediocre player as well, and after two months of really struggling on showdowns, I read a bunch of strategy guides on reddit and that helped. Just google the showdown you want and there will be lots of good tips in the reddit thread.

I actually decided to switch hitting to Directional instead of zone to really force myself to swing at strikes and not “reach” for anything. Make yourself take a strike. Don’t try to go after low strikes as that will induce double plays. Wait for a pitch down the middle and regular swing.

I’ve won 6 out of 9 showdowns since adhering to this strategy.

That's my plan too. Also got Judge for 5600 for the blip he was down that low and will sell him back too. Assuming they go back up again.

Yep. That's my one remaining card as well. Just can't pull the trigger (and about 50k short at the moment anyway).

Pulled Chris Sale in one of the packs from inning 4. First time I ever got a diamond.

Not sure but it’s a great time to buy the mid to low diamonds I think. Or if you’ve been saving for a big name diamond, it should be selling towards the low end of the last couple weeks.

Is the mid to high diamond bump after a stub sale sustained for awhile or is it typically a temporary blip over the weekend with the values reverting to normal next week?

Bit the bullet and bought him back for $125k. So frustrating to take a $25k loss -- i totally misread the market and thought his rise and other high diamonds was tied to the Live Event. And once the event was over, the market would course correct. Never happened. Just goes to show you that supply and demand cannot always be predicted.

I’m kicking myself for selling Scherzer last week when he got to $108k. Now debating whether to buy him back where he is now or hope he falls even just 10-15% to make the buyback suck a little less.

I'll throw my vote for Posey. He is raking for me, even against righties, and his defense is just ridiculous. He blocks literally everything.

So I can't figure out how to steal in this. I have not had issues in game or even in the Granderson moment. What am I doing wrong? I mean not how to successfully steal the base, but literally what buttons should i be using to get a jump and actually move -- most times I try my player doesnt even move. Sorry for such a basic question but can't figure this out for some reason.

I think the game is still incredible despite the handful of tweaks that could be improved. That said, the idea I see that a perfect/perfect or good/good should always end up with a positive result for the batter is ludicrous. Do people not watch real baseball? How many times do you see balls crushed right at someone or hit into the gap where someone makes a great diving play. It happens at least a couple times almost every game. I love that this game also doesn’t automatically reward the batter every time for a good swing. And also allows for bad swings to sometimes fall in or squeak by a player.

Super idea.

I finished a perfect game with Max Scherzer. Took two 9th inning crazy defensive plays to do it, but it happened.

When in a game, you can look at your CAP player and I believe it shows their attributes adjusted with equipment factored in. Outside of a game it doesn’t show it.
