I agree... The game was better before this recent patch.. I don't understand why they put out a beta if all they are gonna do is patch the game and change everything/make the game worse.

Everyone getting boatloads of XP and here I am, along with many others NOT getting any XP for anything.

The single hits part are easy to get if you drag bunt torwards the second baseman and beat it out with his speed. The extra base hits are kinda frustrating with how God like the CPU fielders are.

I hate the XBH moments, especially when a runner is on base. You hit a clear gap shot and the base runner just stands there like an idiot preventing me from getting an XBH.

I have tried everything to fix the problem, but nothing works. I keep getting the can't continue using the application, game data is corrupted message every time I try to play. I've done the rebuilding database, deleted and reinstalled the game over and over, initialized my ps4, bought another hard drive, bought another copy of the game, and nothing works. All of my other games work fine and have no problems whatsoever, just MLB the show 21 is the problem. I've submitted a bug report and everything imaginable to fix the problem, nothing works.

I just want to play the game but can't.

When I go into extra innings and they keep going, I usually just throw fastballs right down the middle so they can win it, but that doesn't work so I throw breaking balls out of the zone and they crush it every time.

Showdowns can be challenging and frustrating sometimes. Don't play if it's gonna frustrate you because that is no fun. Showdowns and moments frustrate the hell out me, so I do MTO for the TAs and have more fun doing it, plus I level up alot that way.
If you're good enough to beat the showdown, go for it. I'm not that good anymore at the game, age is catching up with me and my hand-eye coordination isn't what it used to be.

Its happened to me several times this year and quite frankly, I'm sick of it. Ill be winning, they pause, send a friendly quit, then magically it disconnects while I'm waiting and I get the loss... Stuff like this isn't fun when it happens all the time and it just makes me not want to play anyone online because of it.

It's happening to me as well and it is beyond annoying. I'm not getting XP for anything at all.

Just give everyone all 3 1st inning bosses and easy access to 1 of the 2nd inning bosses.

In EAs words, they are not lootboxes, they are "Surprise Mechanics" and they are "Fun and Ethical " EA makes you pay for just about everything, including level up rewards. MLB the show and SDS give em for free. Packs are just a optional bonus. I had an amazing team this year in MLB the show 19 and didn't spend a dime. Yes I bought packs with my stubs,more than I should lol. EAs packs are outrageous. They charge you mainly real money for the good packs, and charge you tons of coins for the bad packs, like 50k to 100k. MLB the shows packs are quite good compared to EAs and 2Ks.

Plus throw in that live series diamond pack at the end of the 1st inning

The game is a big, heaping pile of covered aids right now. I'm having trouble hitting against the CPU, moments and showdown are even more frustrating post patch and I'm just not having as much fun with the game as I was about a week ago..

They do this every year and it's beginning to get ridiculous.

I only have like maybe 5 or 6 at 100%. I do most of my TA by playing MTO. I just seem to have more fun playing it instead of diamond dynasty and having to put up with the random bs that happens in online h2h modes.

What's with everyone naming their teams "And I Quit?"

I think they should have put in offline missions to prestige the players. Like make the hits or XBHs 3x more offline than online, or something like that.

Hitting is 1000000% fine! They do not need to fix it, they however do NEED to fix the servers and the no XP thing.

Not happening to me or anyone I know but apparently, its happening for the youtubers/streamers, which is total bs because some of us don't even get the XP it actually shows after playing a game.

It all goes to other people lol. That's how they are getting to 650k XP so fast.
