The last 30 mins have been crazy...

In the AL Central showdown, I won the first 7 events. Down 15-9 if I had skipped the 2nd elimination. Decided to do it since it SAID down 4-0 with 20 outs to Clevinger. Was only 15 outs. Didn't matter. Couldn't touch Clev. Lose the Showdown after being 15-9 and ready to face Gioloto which I usually destroy.

I'm pissed so I decide to take it out on a 50 bundle and holy s***

Went from furious to hyped in a matter of 10 minutes.

Btw... Showdown is addicting. Love this game mode. Maddening most of the time but rewarding

This may have been already talked about but it seems like there is a hint to the future prospect cards in DD.

If you look at the generic day 1 roster, there are multiple prospects where you cannot change their likeness even though they have 0 service time in MLB.

All the prospects released so far except for Julio Rodriguez fit this theory.

Obviously others could come up to that have service time already which makes sense why their likeness is in the game (Kieboom, Lutz, May, Hoerner, etc.)

These could be the Stage 2 Team Affinity in my opinion. It would fit with the Stage 1 affinity reward at 25. Collect all of them or a # of them and get 95 Gavin Lux for example. Just throwing around ideas...

Thoughts?

They need to just make it where if you have more fans that the other when simulating it's an automatic win.

All the sims do is create an experience where the gamer is spamming X and watching the sim delete numbers.

Give the win and move on. Conquest is easy either way so why not take the time consuming part out of it so people have a more enjoyable gaming experience.

I am playing the Event and I can't get anyone out...

I am throwing pitches as far out of the zone as possible and everyone is swing at them and fouling them off. I am bouncing pitches and they are getting contact. So then I try to throw any pitch over the plate and even if it's on the black it's a no doubt HR.

Only pitcher that I have any success with is Tyler Rogers. deGrom they just foul off until I come over the plate. Tatis hit a perfect perfect line drive HR on a ball that was the entire PCI out of the zone.

Simply put, this needs to change. If it doesn't then TA is worthless. You will only get 2 or 3 a year unless all you do is grind which will take away from the events, ranked seasons, and other online modes because I doubt many are going to go play a ranked game with an entire roster of LS Giants.

I know SDS does the 3 year average but anyone else feel Lindor should have more power vs. righties?

Xander has 70/80 power. Lindor is 76/67.
Lindors last 3 year HR totals... 32,38,33. Xander... 33,23,10

I also know power isn't based solely on HRs but XBHs as well. Lindor and Xander are nearly identical with 2Bs and Xander has a slight edge with Triples.

Why doesn't Lindors stats reflect his actual play IRL... My thoughts. They don't want him being a 90+. That is rare territory and SDS doesn't view Lindor like they do Trout, Arenado, and Belly and that's fine, but Lindor should be an 89 on par with Betts.

To add to my argument... Lindors speed and steal stats are a joke compared to a lot of other players in the game.

Yelich gets 75/75 speed and steal and fore someone who is on base more than Yeli only has a few more stolen bases in the last 3 years.

Lastly, as you can see by my avatar, I'm a biased fan, but stats are stats and the way I am seeing it... Lindor got nerfed.

I know that, but I also feel like I am on time, but it is late. I make an adjustment and then pull everything foul and can't hit any off-speed because I have to guess where the fastball will be thrown and swing early.

These missions where you need to hit doubles or get RBIs and the runners won't go are ridiculous. The Realmuto mission is maddening

I think we will at a minimum see 1 more prospect per team.

Was just prompted that new items were available in the Show Shop. There is nothing there. Then it said Sale Begins at... I think it said 3pacific.

I am terrible at hitting in this game but I also don't contact swing. Pitching has always been where I am successful so I couldn't buy a win right now in this event.

Not sure what that is above, but... This sucks.
