    Thoughts on Prime Britton
  • azpanthers11_PSNA azpanthers11_PSN

I’d disagree. He’s not bad, but he isn’t the lights out guy I remember from 19. He’s still my 2nd lefty out of the pen. But I have preferred to use either LS or SS Chapman in any crucial situation.

What’s a bigger question to me after July is assuming the season starts and goes off as planned; do they just immediately pivot to the current season or create an additional MA for the current season and continue the throwbacks as well?

Now I’m not going to say your complaints aren’t valid. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion. I do find it ironic though that you are complaining about 2-1, 1-0 games when I think a lot of people would welcome those as opposed to the 10-15 run games per team every time out. Try playing in different parks that enough hits, home runs, etc. There is a park for everyone’s play style and desire in which to play the game. Try new things, don’t take it as win at all costs and the game gets much more enjoyable IMO.

Love him against lefties, ehh against righties. Been playing him at 2B just cause that’s a revolving door for me right now. There are as good or better cards for the cost of him, if not less. All really depends on how you like his swing.

Cause they give you vouchers for them. Only way the vouchers work is if it’s considered repeatable. However the vouchers are a finite resource so once you have exhausted them it is no longer repeatable.

Moments do not count towards the stats.

  • Any advice for making World Series?
  • azpanthers11_PSNA azpanthers11_PSN

I’d reiterate what a lot of people said about not playing too many games in one sitting. What I typically do is I’ll hop into a BR or event game first. If I’m squaring up the ball, regardless of results, I know I’m seeing the ball well so I will go into RS. If I’m popping up a bunch, essentially the good/okay curse I’ll stick to grinding in events or anything not of consequence.

Short answer is know your strengths and weaknesses and ability to recognize them on a given day.

  • Best park to play in
  • azpanthers11_PSNA azpanthers11_PSN

Shippet is the generic equivalent of Coors. I typically play there right now in RS not because I like it but I don’t feel rewarded for hits playing anywhere else. I keep an eye on other places when I’m on the road but my Perfect-Perfect fly ball with 100 exit velo with Chipper at Bayfront that was a F8 that didn’t even reach the track really frustrated me. So I play at Shippet for the time being.

What’s worse naming the team that or the message before the game saying “please man I’m 1 win away from x player”?

    Can’t stand either.

  • Highly rated players you struggle with?

I would agree with giving about 100ABs before giving up on them. I was hitting maybe .230 with Trout early on and gave up on him. Recently was looking for a different option in the OF and went back to him. I’m hitting over .300 with him now and has been my most consistent hitter this RS.

For the price I would say yes. Got a couple recently to just try them out and if for nothing else the wider base it gives has been helpful.

They can take some getting use to, but I haven’t had any drawbacks so far.

As have I. Even professionals miss spots. I’ve seen them attempt to hit spots, up, down, in and out and miss over the middle. It happens.

  • This one takes the cake...
  • azpanthers11_PSNA azpanthers11_PSN

You are saying it was going up and out of the zone and “teleported” or whatever phrasing you used to middle middle. If it looks middle middle the entire time. You missed your spot. That is possible.

  • azpanthers11_PSNA azpanthers11_PSN

Would have easily been solved with a 2nd angle from the pitchers view or catchers view. Fairly certain those are possible. All I was trying to say is if you are going to present an argument leave no doubt.

  • This one takes the cake...
  • azpanthers11_PSNA azpanthers11_PSN

It slows down. I’ll give you that. but in the video the ball looks like it’s belt high the entire time. Not a good angle to see if you really were going to hit the spot, up out of the zone, as you have said multiple times.
