At this point, are we ever going to see any sort of stability in the game as far as connections are concerned? I haven’t played online modes (Battle royale, events, ranked seasons) because of the complete unreliability of the servers.

I am far from a fan boy, and I am not so not the greatest critic, but at this point in the season, I am actually getting very very fed up with this game and I’m seriously considering un-installing the [censored] thing off my hard drive and going to play any other game that is not MLB the show 21.

I can’t speak for the others on these forums, but you have eroded any and all goodwill I may have had towards you.

I’m really hoping that you can turn it around in the coming days, because at this point in the year, I’m not about to give you weeks to solve issues that should’ve been solved within the first 2 to 3 weeks after launch.

You gotta relax bro. Every year has been relatively smooth, but this year it’s been difficult for sds because they have next gen AND cross play to contend with! It’s only May bro, you’ll have this game till April 2022, when the next version comes out, which you can then choose to buy or not buy. But unless you’re getting paid to play mlb, which I think you said you were not, then please cut them some slack and have patience. I hope that didn’t come off as rude, because that was not my intention.

You don’t create him in DD, you create him in rtts. You can use your created player on your DD squad. I’m not sure how to do it yet, but I know that’s a new feature of the show this year

I sent him a friend request on the first day we were online together, which he accepted. But the next day he didn’t show up on my friends list. He had to unfriend me and I sent him another invite. But before that he had to send me a game invite because I didn’t have him on my list. I hope they fix this soon. Also, after the game, because the servers were down, my stats weren’t recorded

I’m a PS player and my brother is Xbox. we have been having problems connecting, but yesterday we had our first game together, and it was sweet.

Also, I’d like to add that your rtts player or any player for that matter is not going to swing at the same exact spot every swing, so you can have perfect timing but if the yellow circle in the strike zone, your bat radius, doesn’t line up you’ll foul it off, pop it up, or ground out. For me, this is one of the most frustrating things about this game, because it seems like some games, the yellow circle never lines up and I can’t make good contact, even with good or perfect timing. That’s if you’re using pure analog or directional. Overall though, I think this is a pretty solid adaptation of the show, and you’ll get the hang of it. Keep swingin for the fences! Cheers

I think it would be kinda cool to have a system similar to nba 2k where you could take rtts player salaries and actually buy things with it. Otherwise, during arbitration I could ask for a bajillion dollars and it wouldn’t matter!

I agree, this game is amazing every year I’m impressed with how good this game is! If it were broken we wouldn’t be able to do anything! That’s what patches and updates are for. Everyone needs to be patient, SDS will work it out

I hear you. It’s like a season but there is no front end stuff. An online franchise mode would be kinda cool, but it would be very hard for them to administer.

They have the custom leagues option where you can play with actual mlb teams, you can join with friends. This section is for people looking for players for their leagues or looking for leagues to join

I see your point, but I like starting over every year because I try to do better each year and try different positions. It’s tough right now for me to progress, though because I’m a two way player, SP and CF so I have to progress my pitching and hitting and fielding ratings I’m a 64 overall as a pitcher and a 55 overall in CF. I didn’t even know you could have two ratings! But I haven’t had any problems with this game either

I’m saying that you SHOULDNT link it. Because it stopped recording progress when I did it and started again when I unlinked it. I’m PlayStation only too, but I’ve had an Xbox in the past

I’m actually noticing that my progress is slow as far as rating, but I was in the middle of my double a season on hall of fame difficulty as a pitcher/center fielder and was just moved up to triple a

Did you guys link to your the show account online, because I noticed that my progress wasn’t being recorded after I did that, but I unlinked it and it started recording it again
