Trash. This year was supposed to be HUGE for y’all and the show, and the fans. Finally opening up to Xbox was going to double your sales with the snap of your fingers. It was LITERALLY gonna be easy money for the next 5 years. But I can’t imagine this game still being around in 26’. I don’t understand how game developing works, but clearly y’all are scraping from the bottom of the barrel. I’d be absolutely ASTONISHED to see this game continue for years to come with all the bugs, and [censored]-backwards programming in it. This game is made for nobody. I hope y’all collect your checks now before they start to bounce. Even 2K and Madden both have their fair share of problems, but jeez-laweez this is garbage.
I wouldn't call it trash, but I certainly wouldn't call it great either. In my experience, offline franchise, there are many things that make me feel that way.
- Attributes that make no sense.
- Many incorrect heights and or weights.
- Incorrect age.
- Way too many 99 potentials and some who should be are not!
- Cheating!
Okay, why do I say cheating? Yes, I will answer my own question because someone is likely to ask. Thus, I'll save time.
I say the game is designed to cheat because auto fielding is designed to cheat. CPU controlled teams field with amazing ability. Now how about user controlled teams? Well, try it and see what happens. Most people if not all cannot push buttons or react like a computerized game--the game doesn't have to press buttons. Bottom line, not only does auto fielding not simulate your player accurately, but can and will make that player look like an amateur.
Conclusion: Auto fielding is designed to cheat. If it was unbiased, then auto fielding would control user players same way it controls CPU controlled teams.
Now that is my take on this game. Oh, in case someone wants to know why I buy a cheating baseball game, reason is because I like playing baseball. Unfortunately current baseball console options are worse than this game.
