First and foremost boys.. “️🥰” ok now that that’s out of the way… Sounds like you goobers might possible lack the ability to read the room and clearly haven’t read a lot of our issues throughout the year. For me personally (and I do believe it has to do with geographical location) have all sorts of issues wit this game typically the same days of the week. The game is near unplayable although my connection runs a business and is well well over what any game would require. Additionally, I have 0 issues with anything else requiring internet and kids don’t either with their games. You guys are the lucky bunch that don’t appear to have issues. My opponent didn’t cheat me at all. The servers or the connections of my peers or opponents are what I complain about and have issues with.
This leads to very poor gameplay on my end while my opponent isn’t having any issues at all since he is essentially playing on my connection while I play on his. You guys really do seem to have a crush on me though. And I’m down with it. Do yall wanna get to know each other so we can be more in touch ? Facebook ? Insta? Let me know boys excited to hear back from both of you 🥵

Holy hell, give it up dude. No one has a crush on you or is following you. It's hard to avoid you when every other post on this forum is you complaining about something.

It's frustrating because baseball is frustrating. It's the only sport where you can do everything exactly right and still get a bad result. Will you lose a game where you have more hard hits than your opponent? Yeah, it's going to happen . But if you're constantly getting good pci placement and timing you're going to win more than you lose.

But you get these guys who think they're better than they really are and never get a weak hit or a foul ball they shouldn't have. You're right it gets old and it's very annoying.

Literally things you've said in the last 4 days in separate posts. Sounds alot like the game is cheating me. But cry more clown, maybe things will get better.

Coming from a guy who's constantly crying and bitching about how the game cheats.

Sounds like your placement is glitched or something. If your starting rating for the season was 700 then you should be in gold 1. It doesn't matter if you didnt play at all this season and it also wouldn't matter if you tanked your rating all the way down to 0. You should still be in gold 1

I closed the app by accident once on a choice pack and was able to reopen it and make my choice still. But I could only open on the console,it didnt show up in the app.

No need to be all extra. Just have a separate ranked salary cap mode. Use minimum and maximum player ratings that adjust with the power creep.

I dont even care if they keep it so simple to the point that it has the same rewards and uses the same rating across salary cap and regular ranked.

I like to use different theme teams in ranked, I used a cubs and a negro league theme team in my last 2 weekend classic games. Plus I also like trying out different cards, so it would be nice to see some variation in my opponents lineups too.

The packs clearly say that they're all cards from the themed programs from those packs.

I'm pretty sure they're meant for people who got the game late and people who dont read descriptions.

Im pretty sure there wasn't but I have a terrible memory. And im assuming the rewards will be much better than 5 packs and a bat skin, I was just joking lol.

I can't lay down bunts to save my life either. I was trying to bunt cheese through the extreme showdown with Neon Chandler Simpson who also has 99 bunt and drag bunt, with the perk as well, and couldn't get one down.

I gave up and learned that the Neon Chandler Simpson absolutely rakes, at least in the showdown lol

I almost regretted doubling down and taking the NL voucher instead of the AL voucher before the series started.

But now im ready for my 5 packs and a bat skin lol

I know you are new to mlb the show but a lot of the frustration this year with packs is that they are far worse than previous years.

I agree, but how is that the point here? It's just someone crying that everyone else is cheating because they're losing games.

If you're struggling on the higher difficulties, I'd recommend having 2 or 3 of the bunt cheese guys in your lineup, and the rest be high contact high vision and all 4 bench spots being 99 spd 99 steal guys if you got them. Neon Chandler Simpson and postseason Garrett Hampson both have 99 spd and drag bunting, as does HOF Honus Wagner if you got him, but id use him off the bench since he can play any position and is the perfect pinch runner for a slower batter.

Use guess pitch, I cant remember the name of the one, but when you guess the pitch and the location correctly the location lights up red. Pick the pitch you feel most comfortable with hitting and keep guessing it until you get 2 strikes. I wouldn't use it with 2 strikes, because in my experience the penalty for guessing wrong is pretty high even if you put the pci on the ball pretty good. And when you get to 2 strikes just swing away and hope for the best and use contact swing if you got a guy on in hopes of just moving him over.

Im not elite at the game, but I think im slightly above average and I dont struggle on HOF or legend difficulties the way I used too. But this is still a strategy I break out from time to time whenever Im feeling less locked in.

You had to pick the team one before the DS started, but the league one was before the first game of the world series.

Im not sure who's happy with me, but I do but lots of packs. I've always been a bit of a gambler, so I usually chase the card from buying the packs instead of buying the card itself. Which is pretty stupid lol but whoever is happy with me over there, I hope it follows me to next year's game too

I think pulled every LS diamond this year except 1 big one. I think it was Witt. But other than that, Ohtani twice, Judge multiple times, and Tatis, Trout, Ramirez and Lindor multiple times when they were all 80k-100k+.

I've gotten at least 1 rare round, some multiple, out of every program pack. And plenty of spotlight players from the packs with Topps now or spotlight cards.

Then Babe Ruth and mackey twice and just pulled a 2nd Chipper a couple nights ago.

All in all I'd say pretty good.

Will Smith. But I pulled Chipper from a chase pack last night, that im not even sure how I got.

Yeah, I don't know if it is the case or not, but theoretically a 99 hitter should have just as much success against a 99 pitcher as an 85 hitter would have against an 85 pitcher.

The 99 overall pitchers most people will use have outlier, break outlier, high break, usually 100+ hits and K's per 9. That's what's making it tougher to hit. If youre squaring everything up you'll be fine most of the time, regardless if its 85 vs 85 or 99 vs 99.

Most people will come here complaining that they manipulated the sliders without telling us, screwed with the timing windows, blah blah blah. It's ok to say that you're having a tougher time hitting because its harder to decipher 99 overall Randy Johnsons fastball from his splitter than it was 85 Chase Burns fastball from his circle change. But some just cant do that.
