No way. This community is incredibly toxic. If I didn't have to play online I probably wouldn't honestly.

Allowing guess pitch in online play would be an awful idea. They actually did it for an event in 18 and it was the worst gaming experience ever. If anything they should completely remove directional hitting from online play and actually fix the timing windows.

What fun is playing the cpu? Where's the gratification? Its like playing checkers vs yourself.

No, it's like playing checkers vs a CPU programmed to play checkers. People feel different ways about what they want from the game and work long weeks where they aren't always down to spend 45 min playing against Kluber at Shippett for the 100th time and worrying about an RS score.

This. 100% this. One of 18's best features was the combined online/offline stat grinding. This year they completely screwed over offline players.

There should be a grind available for people offline that do not wish to deal with the toxic players online. If we're being honest less than 1% of the community is grinding those cards legitimately without boosting anyways so what's the difference if someone plays offline ? This is how immortals were basically grinded in 18 but, online stats counted too. They could literally make the offline 3x as many stats as the online one to "even" it out. Mke the game requirement veteran or all-star minimum and let people have fun with the game without forcing them to play against toxic players that SDS does nothing about anyways.

SDS should stop leaving the player base in the dark regarding these problems and just clear up any confusion. It's the least they could do considering we paid hard earned money for their product.

The risk wouldn't outweigh the reward in most cases considering the high possibility of an errant throw into LF.

Shippet is the most broken field in the game, there's a reason every streamer uses it.

No vouchers. All a waste of time. This has happened multiple times. No response from SDS either. At this point, I literally have no idea what else I can do.

This has happened to me on about 10 different occasions. I'm over it. SDS responded one time and said they couldn't do anything because I wasn't actively in a showdown. Like no s***, it kicked me out ...

If feels like it artificially forces you into slumps for literally no reason at all but, it's hard to tell since you can't pitch and hitting is not consistently rewarded.

There's no rule. SDS has it coded weird. If you out someone like Griffey behind the plate he magically learns to throw right handed. Quite the feat really.

I'm 1/37 on these packs. I got a Springer which is actually worse than going 0/37. They're trash.

I've had it happen multiple times in showdown now. Both in stage 1 and stage 2. I've made multiple videos and emailed SDS support to report the bug but, that is literally like talking to a wall. I'm glad they made the showdowns easier but, it's still annoying to lose runs you earned because the game simply decides that you failed the mission anyways.

SDS really needs to address this. It's not acceptable to complete a mission, have the game say you completed it only to be failed. It's happening more often and needs to be addressed.

This is game breaking and needs fixed. There's zero excuse for this BS to keep happening.

I don't have a problem with either AS or HOF pitching but, a 95 mph FB shouldn't look like it's going 5 different speeds from the same pitcher when they aren't doing anything abnormal such as pitching from the strech. That happens all too often in the game which isn't very realistic either. If the speed of the pitch changes due to increased velocity then fine but, that's rarely the case.

People can be obnoxious and overly desperate for a win in online ... Stories like this is why I almost never help anyone with stats.
