Live series vs fotf pitchers
-
How are there some live series pitchers with different pitches as their fotf card. How do they just know a new pitch
-
Practice? Plenty of pitchers develop new pitches all the time, it's part of the craft.

But they don’t yet it’s the same player why does live series Mathew Boyd not throw a sinker but fotf does
-
Because sds noticed everyone loves high sinkers so they decided to give everyone a sinker.
The answer is because sds just does whatever they want, whether its realistic or not.
Oh...except for batting averages...gotta keep those realistic...

Because in RL he used to throw sinkers back in 2016 quite a bit, but changed because it was his most hittable pitch. Did you think batters are the only one that made adjustments?
His FotF card is probably based off his earlier pitch selection than his LS.

Last year his pitch repertoire looked like this:
Fastball 51%
Slider 35%
Changeup 6%
Curveball 5%
Sinker 3%I agree weird FotF gets it and not live series. Perhaps because he has trended awayfrom it they removed it from his live series. He used to throw it 21% of the time back in 2016 and reduced it to 18% in 17, then 10% in 18, followed by 3% last year.
