It always helps to have a couple good pulls to start the year. I pulled Trout & Cole from the same bundle so I then just focused on Collecting the AL first. I have been buying 50 & 20 bundles look for high diamonds selling everything I don't need & repeat. It is a bit risky but my pk luck is fire this year so this may not work for everyone. Good luck
Nice. Ya if you pull Trout and Cole, the AL is not a problem at all!

Grinding out TA can help with the team specific reward packs. They’re not sellable but can help get you silver and bronzes for each team.
Not a huge help but I didn’t realize it until I had already obtained all teams silver and bronze cards. I could have saved quite a bit of stubs if I grinded those packs out first.

Collect the easy ones first. (Jays, Orioles, Royals, Tigers, etc.)
Collect 30 on each team minus the expensive ones for tons of XP.
Start knocking off the easier divisions. (AL Central, NL Central)
By the end, you'll probably have Trout, the Astros, Yankees, Rockies and Dodgers left. Decide which you want to spend your stubs on first and go from there. I chose to get Sheffield done first because NL doesn't involve selling your soul for Trout.
This is exactly how I am doing it. My fingers are crossed I can pack a Trout this year, that will pay for a couple. I have 300k saved up as a base for any cards I may want to buy, for example I fully expect either HW or Prime George Foster to be a Flawless reward, I'll have to buy that on the market, so I want to keep stubs stock piled and still buy collections.

Not gonna pull Trout with wishing and hoping, need to buy more headliner packs. If you buy it, he will come.

I do something very similar. I usually keep my stub count around 125-150k in case something great comes out. Then anytime I start getting close to 200k, I'll bang out a collection or buy something nice like an Eric Gagne where I can still sell later if I need a large amount of stubs

Well, as the mechanic once said to the guy wearing his steering wheel on his head: "there's your problem right there bud."

This is true for every year I have done the collections. I have all teams over 30 players. Now I am trying to figure out with the last 14 teams how I want to go about spending my stubs. I flip cards on the market. Last night I bought a HL got 3 silver cards sold those on the Market. I bought one pack for 1,500 and pulled Chris Sale who I had already pulled over the weekend in a free pack. I sold that card. Once I flip Judge card I will be sitting at about 50,000 stubs and counting. Thinking to just save and go after Trout. See what I get in free packs along the way. I thinking to just buy one pack a night for 1,500 that will satisfied wanting to open packs. not waste on the bundles or HL.

Got about $400? Best way is purchase stubs and buy all the cards. Plus you will be supporting the economy and helping them keep the servers running smoothly.
Technically speaking, this is the correct answer.

Try over 800 buddy i only have 11 collections left and just added how many stubs I'd need for the diamond players and it was over 1 million stubs

Should give you a task later in the year..defeat all teams on legend or hall of fame in order to get one of the top 3 expensive ls cards...or better yet moments tournament with legendary teams for the reward. Because majority of though who pull trout only ones who will have him

Not true, those who want to complete collections that do not pull the expensive Diamonds will buy off the market and it is possible with out spending any extra cash.
