Content is pointless when the gameplay is this bad. You could put God in center field and he still wouldn't be able to catch a routine fly ball.
What a waste of content. I'm glad your happy with style over substance.
Really bad take

I suggest you come to terms with it at some point. I’ve seen very little improvement in two years so I choose to enjoy the content instead of being disappointed patch after patch year after year.

I’m one of the few that’s happy about this actually. I have a full squad of basically prospects and the FOTF FS (Moncada, Albies) it’s kept things interesting for me. I’d be tired of the same old LS cards by now and same old legend cards.
I’ve welcomed this change.
Exactly. I don’t understand why people are upset about usable new cards. I for one don’t really feel like using the same players I’ve been using for the last 3 years. Id rather use a card and get excited about watching the dude next year than use another card of a guy I never saw play and never will.
Because we were led to believe that the diamond prospects were the best cards those players were going to get, especially because there’s a whole collection. Now we get new versions of the same players within like a month for no reason? It’s lazy and scummy, and many people would prefer actual real flashbacks.
I would prefer a fielding fix, but hey heres a new card to appease us.
whispers "Maybe they won't notice the game breaking fielding bugs if we release these cool looking cards"

Im not a fan of these Future Stars cards coming out cuz theyre just "made up".... I get it, its Fantasy Baseball-ish anyways but we're guessing they're going to be as good as Trout, Bellinger and DeGrom? Based on what?...
Atleast with Legends, you can look back and justify their ratings.. LS has the 3 yr range...But Future Stars. .. meh. Let's just make them all 85+ lol

Because the content team and the gameplay team arent one and the same. If the content team completely stops doing their job it wont speed up a gameplay patch one single second.

So, a very small development team wouldn't help each other out, is that what you are saying? Only one or two of them can code, is that what you are saying?
What are you saying? They aren't a development team? They don't work together? Lol, how big do you think they are that they don't multitask? I know guys like Victior and others are gameplay testers, but I think you may find that quite a few of them work across "content" and "game development" at the same time.

For me the issue is how the FOTF makes you believe that Stage 2 will be players as good or better that Stage 1. I spent a ton of time and stubs getting all these Stage 1 entries to 70/70 to find out that Future Stars (basically prospects) are the next entry.
They could have dropped throwback Future Stars/Rookies of some really good old school players. I just think transparency would have been cool here given that a prospect set already existed. Now, if these Future Stars drop and we get powered up guys like Elroy Jimenez, Bo Bichette and others, that would be kind of cool. Just as long as the grind for these cards isn't so ridiculous that I can't complete them while also getting ranked seasons and events done too.

Tell yourself what you want to hear and be angry at the wrong people. I can assure you sds is aware of the issues and doing everything they can to fix it as fast as they can.

That's the risk that comes with the unknown. And these future star reveals are awesome players. Chicago has a 91 overall SP as their Stage 2!
Also keep in mind there are other unlocks along the way... Plus this is only Stage 2, there's also 3 and 4 and you are very well setup fir when those come out and I'm sure those will be some really top notch cards.
