I am close to having him, and wondered how he played? I haven't seen him at all online, and I will most likely keep Gary behind the dish, but his defense, vision, and stats versus lefty's don't look to bad...

He's solid defensively and cant hit, just like last year.

I think he’s pretty decent. There are better options but he’s a solid free catcher. I’d probably be using him if I didn’t have my CAP at catcher.

Ignore the 1st 2 posters. Dude has been my best hitter so far. He's at around .370 for me, and I'm not even that good lol.

I started off by hitting abysmal with him but now his average has picked way up for me. It's all on where in your lineup he is and what type of hits you're trying to get with him. I've got him in the 8 hole and just try to slap the ball now. Occasionally he'll surprise me and go deep or pull the ball into the gap but I've had my best luck just waiting and slapping the ball the other way.
I just hit Silver 10 and this time I'm taking Eddie Matthews as my outfield is already crowded and 3B seems to be the shallowest position at the moment.
