No matter how many family and friends of SDS there is on this board defending this game, truth is the game is still broken. SDS broke it on purpose imho for money.

Hitting was perfect, too perfect that people wouldn't buy more packs for cards. hence why they broke hitting on purpose

I’m not saying the game is perfect, but you make a claim with no factual backing. Saying “the game is broken”, but providing no evidence or facts is a pretty weak argument.

The game is broken for money due to SDS’ underlying motives. You should google player retention churn. It’s a stat that a lot of game developers use now to calculate how much money they are losing.

SDS openly admitted in one of their Twitch streams that a majority of their player base is not really good at this game compared to what they thought. They based this on their SDS user stats.

Basically they don’t want players leaving the game to play other games if they keep losing a lot or are not competitive in the game. So they add the randomness (RNG) to help reduce the skill gap. They say “baseball is random” to justify their cash cow methods.

This allows players who are not good in this game to still “compete” and be happy. It also helps these players think they need to “buy a new card” to be better at the game.

If they keep playing the game, SDS continues to get income from Stubs and Players purchasing new content.

Sorry if this is long but I tried my best to summarize it.

Was in the 8th inning of the Pat Corbin mission, 2 outs, runners on 2nd and 3rd. Hard ground ball to 2b, he makes the backhand (the hardest part), gets feet squared up to throw to first (the easy part).....and throws it away....run scored and now I gotta play this goddam mission all over again.

I will tell you my theory on why the hitting was changed. SDS just looks at numbers. So when the game was released and you have a ton of people that bought collections or got lucky Trout pulls and completed the collections pretty early. These people then took their stacked lineups to RS and crushed against a ton of people that did not have the collections done which skewed the numbers to make it look like the hitting was too easy. Had they only waited some time for those players to reach the higher levels and others to start playing RS, the numbers would have most likely declined but they jumped the gun too early imo.

Due to Covid 19, tin foil is extremely limited. Once it's back to normal, we will get you your hat and all will be good again. Hang tight, it's tough for everyone right now.

Funny how other companies are not having a problem releasing updates and communicating with their community...

Hmm.. Must be the tin foil hat...
