Another example of the absence of effort

This is issue is so small in comparison to all the many instances of this game just disappointing in so many areas. The development staff doesn't even appear to try to hide the fact that it's software generated animation that seldom coincides with controller input. I get all that. Probably a lot more complicated for the SDS developers to handle than the good software engineers of the world.

But this is just inexcusable. Check out this impossible box-score. Guy has 2 hits but 1 AB I had a double playing as Zim, but it doesn't show. 7 its are showing in the Batting stats, but the running total shows 6. Probably other nonsense. But, I believe this is like a microcosm of the effort expended by the developers of the game. They have absolutely no desire to create a realistic sports simulation. But, they do have a great desire to take our money.
