I don't want to sell but I almost have to don't I?

I was trying to collect everybody for Mantle and already have quite a few diamonds including Trout 226k and Belliger 94k, but the profit is almost too big to pass up. My concern is they will only rise with no baseball this year and then I'm stuck like Chuck.
What are you market gurus doing? Selling and hoping for a dip in a week or so or are you holding? I really don't know what to expect from SDS as far as stub sales. It would be a bad look to pump a stub sale during this time. Don't even tempt the dummies who want a virtual baseball card over real world financial security.
-
I think the question is, what would you do with those stubs if you sold? There’s only so many players out there to get, so I’m guessing you wouldn’t have enough use for 300k stubs if you had them.

Hard to predict. I'm kinda expecting a flash sale this Friday again and it'll probably bring a transient dip in the market. My issue is I have no idea when the stub sale is coming. If I had all the pieces to lock in for Mantle I'd just do it, since I don't I also have a lot of high end LS cards that I haven't locked in because the individual rewards aren't really worth (hell most division rewards aren't either)

I haven’t spent a dime and I’m 7 national league cards away from completing the LS collection. I need all the expensive ones to do this so right now I’m pausing on the LS. I have Biggio, Trout and a good mix of LS and legends to remain competitive. I’ll get back to the LS at some point I’m sure.

That’s the issue I have. Last year was fun because so many of the collection rewards and division rewards were fun and usable. Now, there really isn’t anything that fun even on the division levels to incentivize me to complete them step by step.

Several MLB guys are tweeting about the final stages of getting baseball going again. The plan is already in place, and the health department folks have approved their plan. I'd shift your focus to grabbing cards you expect to get upgrades once the season starts.

That’s why I’m wondering if they are saving some of those good collection rewards from last year for the team affinity stages... in the streams from SDS before the game release they said team affinity was going to be worth it.

Sell 100%

I’d look at from the perspective of is it worth it to wait 2-3 weeks to get Mantle for a 100k profit? I could go either way on that. If you’re a market flipper, wouldn’t take long at all to make that up with some of the margins widening in recent days.
