First weekend classic game first cheater.

@Pergo_MLBTS great for you. I played all studs that dotted every pitch. 1000 rated players in the 700 levels. I know that because I like to talk with guys that I play. And three of them were 1000 rated players in my gold 1 division. I had no chance. Ill never go past silver 2 again in weekend classic.
-
@Ditka06-_MLBTS did you check their profile. I messaged this Bert guy and said [censored] man what are you a 1000+ player you have had 12 hits in 2 innings with almost every hit 100+ ev. He replied I'm 940 so close, that's what made me check his account and quickly saw the non stop mini season grinding.
-
@ryguy034753_XBL no I probably should have. Gold 1 division in weekend classic will have you playing against 1000 rated players. F.. that! Learned my lesson. Silver 2 it is. Stick to silver 2 play on all star try to make world series during weekend classic is the way to go.
-
@Ditka06-_MLBTS well I'm in silver 2 lol. Started at 625ish and climbed 100 pts in weekend clasic though. I'm not sure how the classic works, like if I go up to 700+ am I still playing only silver 2 people?
-
@ryguy034753_XBL for the most part yes. You are still playing people in your division and can rank up. Exactly why i think hall of fame difficulty shouldnt start until after world series. This is how i made ws last year. I stayed in silver 2 and made ws during weekend classic. This year I wanted to improve and start in gold 1. That didnt work out to well. Huge jump in competition between silver 2 and gold 1. I played 6 games. Five of them were absolutely pros.

@DemIsE4_XBL i also noticed this during my hall of fame games. Every single player was dotting every pitch. I dont know if its the strike zone change. Pitching in this game is definitely way easier than hitting. Which is why I never understood all the people complaining about pitching. Cant get away from it now. Even the cpu dots every pitch. Needless to say i will never play ranked on hall of fame again. Not worth the headache. Trying to enjoy myself. Would be nice if they made hall of fame difficulties above the 800 ws level. Hall of fame 800 to a 1000. Legend on anything after a 1000. Only 5 percent of people make world series in a given year. Thats a ridiculously low number. Ws shouldnt be that prestigious.
Yea, leaning towards staying in the 5-600 levels. It's not like I went 6-0 and mercied everyone there. Last WC in the 500's I think I went 4-2. The wins and losses really don't control the fun for me. If I could see and read pitches I would love to play HOF or higher like I did just 5 years ago. It is not a reaction thing because I watch streamers on legend and it looks way slower than what I see. I can easily see and read their pitches.
This problem I have with seeing pitches may have started shortly after I got the PS5. I know I used to get the disconnected message all the time. Just checked on repair and it is a week and a half and over $200 and the place has bad reviews. I'm thinking about just trading my ps5 for a new one. I'm worried that won't solve the problem, then it would be a show connection issue. A cheaper option since I have the Xbox X too would be to get the game on there. I would need to get a subscription (since I cancelled) and likely a new controller as last time I played on X the stock controller was absolute trash for pinpoint.

Yea, I made WS twice on WC runs from all star. Wanted to see if I could make WS during the season which I did. Rewards in WC are [censored] whether you win 4 in Silver or 2 in Gold. Really doesn't matter.
Getting 12 hits in 2 innings and doing mini seasons like that is a big red flag. I am convinced SDS is doing nothing about it and ignoring reports unless it is from a streamer/partner. Sounds about par for the course.

@DemIsE4_XBL didn't mention but I was using p5 Felix on HoF difficulty too lol.

@DemIsE4_XBL I agree with both of your comments above. Yeah it could be your system and the connection matters if your ps is faulty. This is the only game I play so I try to keep up with all the best stuff and im still just an above average player. But yes definitely staying in the 600 range. Specifically high 600s for next weekend classic. Try to win a few games and make ws that way I think is best. Hof is no joke if you think your ps5 isnt working correctly.

Well the ethernet port may be faulty (it is loose) but I was playing this WC on 5g wifi. I still couldn't see or read pitches which for someone that played real baseball at the level I did is baffling to say the least. As I've said before maybe reaction is a little slower due to age but I do not have the reactions of a normal 56 year old. As evidenced by even making WS during the regular season. When I do the deGrom showdown, I can actually see and read the pitches. Online against an opponent I can't. It literally feels like people are pitching from 30'. I watch streamers on legend and can see and read the ball really well.
Thought about getting another ps5 but not sure that will make a difference. I would love to play at that level but the way it played this weekend, not a chance.
