....any chance of making the menus actually work without crazy lag?
It took me 10 freaking minutes to draft a team, set a batting order and add perks, to play a mode i have to pay to play.
Meanwhile, I note the shop and marketplace menus are lightning fast.....

After putting up with the annoying menu lag, i completed the showdown successfully and it told me did not complete the final mission or whatever, what the hell, so discouraging, i still had 23 outs when i finished it.
Edit-But the Imai card is in my inventory thankfully, sds you need to fix all the glitches and lags it’s getting out of hand. -
I hate the showdown mode I avoid it if possible. Takes forever to draft and if you don’t win you gotta go thru the process again.

If it wasn't for the lag and broken menus...id say this showdown is a good example of SDS being creative. Its not just the same old content, kudos...but the menus, yall...

Throwing Gausman and the Astros No No cards in short Showdowns is great. The menu lag is not, and I've only done one mini boss total due to the lag, and not wanting to get disconnected during an attempt.

@rubicante23_PSN Absolutely, kudos to them for the cards, it's impromptu content like this that helps, but the menus make it miserable.

I failed the second challenge and haven't bothered again because the time sink is just crazy.

How are the showdown menus still this bad after gausman they just rolled it back out with no fixes? Very odd

Key to showdown is draft fast guys who can bunt.. Draft out of position..as you don't play defense.. You only need a few runs each round to win..Bunt and steal your way to get your guys into scoring position to win..

The lag, is why I wait a couple of days. It was usually smooths out by then.

Yeeeeesss, 3rd attempt. Mike Trout spotlight is incredible.
Adele hit into a triple play leaving me with 12 outs needing 3 runs, solo home run from Santander, got Yellich on with a bunt (i need that Yellich) and Ramirez doubled him home. Trout reached on a hit to left and stole 2md and 3rd and Ramirez hit a sac to win it for me.
