@rubicante23_PSN My biggest gripe is that Jackie wasn’t a voucher. I think it was dirty as hell to split those collections. My only other gripe is that the other collections like egg hunt and St. Paddy’s Day didn’t already have a collection. Not only did it cause confusion, but we didn’t get anything else except the voucher. At least with the other minor collections we got a pack or player.

@GoozeFn_PSN I agree with this - splitting them would’ve been fine in future collections, but splitting them now was kind of a slap in the face given how much of a deal they made out of the content drop (speaking of which, did the ‘negro’ controversy cause the overlords to strike down the live content stream schedule?)

@On_a_Power_Trip_PSN IDK but that was much ado about nothing.

I really like that they added the 95 overall option to. Obviously most people won't be able to get the 99 right away, but that 95 is still a great card and should be able to make most lineups for people that don't have the cards to lock in the 99.

@Pergo_MLBTS It’s great for the people who aren’t close. It’s worthless for the people who got the 99 day 1. I just wish they gave another 95ish player collection in between them.

@GoozeFn_PSN This is a great example of why its often a no-win situation and people are going to complain no matter what. They do something for people that aren't close and there are complaints about it being worthless for the people that have it done. If you have the cards to get 99 Miggy on day 1, then another 95 along the way probably isn't going to move the needle all that much for that person. They basically already have just about every card in the game, they'll be fine.

I always feel like Negro Leagues cards aren't given enough shine. Other than John Don, most aren't very usable competitively. They dont even require you to get that many for the collection. Its like they assume people dont wanna bother with Storylines or getting these cards.

Jolt is the same way - they seem to assume noone cares about them. Like, most of us who care have had all the Jolts for...a while now. Why only 30 required? Why not more stuff in TA to get?

With TA and Negro Leagues - they just seem to think people dont wanna do it

@Pergo_MLBTS Except I just made a suggestion about how to make it good for both. This is what they did last year by the way, so no it’s not one or the other. They can appease both types of players. They are just awful at planning content.

@GoozeFn_PSN thought what they did was release sub-megacollections ie more players that had both a 95 and a 99 (which, yes, would’ve been cool)

@On_a_Power_Trip_PSN Yeah, I may be thinking of the sets and seasons model when we had multiple collection rewards. Either way, adding another collection in between 95 and 99 Miggy would have been great.
