Base running in 26 is terrible.

I am used to using the left stick UP to go forward and down back.When doing this in the show 26 I see my running moving the next base and then suddenly turning around... WTF??? I know L1 will advance all runners but I am more concerned with controlling my player. Is there a setting for this?

They have a new base running setting
Try changing it to the old one

I think the new one is a dynamic setting….
Not 100% but happened to me as well

I’m not 100% sure why it’s different this year but I think you have to move the camera with the arrow.
