What happened to Events gameplay?

That's all I play. 120+ wins and all of a sudden every game is nothing but strikeouts.
Has anybody else noticed this? The hitting got worse with the weekend patch or they changed the event sliders behind the scenes.
On a side note are we ever going to get any dev communication around here? I spend 226k on Trout and a fly ball smacks him in the chest. It's totally unacceptable at this point. As if it's ever acceptable....

Hitting hasn't felt any different for me, but fielding is undoubtably worse. I've had Trout and Prime Mantle literally run away from fly balls. It's actually kind of comical how bad it is lol.

Just watched my opponents Mantle run the opposite way on a hit up the middle. It's crazy how bad the game has gotten since pre-release.

Theres times where you push left and your fielder starts running up or right for a second. There are also like pre-defined routes that the game will warp you into, sometimes taking you away from the ball. Its ridiculous.

I cannot get anyone out it the events. My pitches hang MOST of the time. In RS its all strikeouts.

Yup event is nothing but strikeouts - it has become a slog and I win %75 of my games but getting tired of nothing but strikeouts with a lone homerun deciding the game. Fortunately most of the time that homerun is mine but still getting bored of it. Also noticing that most casuals dont even attempt the event as everyone I play is pretty decent at the game - I think HOF pitch speeds have scared the casuals out of the event.

I think Kluber is what has scared casuals out of the event. When I got to 140 wins I just quit every time Kluber popped up and those last 10 wins were much more enjoyable

I played about 10 games in this event and I might have had three or four hits in those 10 games. So yeah, I'd rather play RS or grind away at conquest than play this event.

I'm staying away from H2H until they fix fielding.
However, if I have a decent H2H Daily (4 or more Stars), I was jumping into Events to attempt it; but sinxe they started the last Event, I've gotten maybe 4 hits in 24 games and naturally lost them all.
Ex: I needed 4 hits with Gold Outfielders. I put Gold OF in every position but Catcher and Shortstop and in the two games I played with that Roster; I had 0 hits.
Went into BR and after selecting 2 Gold Outfielders, I had my 4 hits in the same game!
So yeah, unless I get bored with everything else, I'll just skip any Event on HOF.
