Because they get exhausted from trotting out from the pen. It’s especially bad for events and BR, as the innings are scaled but the 3 batter minimum still applies. For example, if you’re starter goes two innings in events, it’s like he actually pitched six innings. Likewise, every batter a reliever faces is like 1 complete inning. SDS has to either remove the 3 batter minimum from events and BR, or significantly boost reliever stamina for those two modes. RS isn’t as bad.
